ADMISSION NOTICE FOR BAMS/B. PHARM (AYURVEDA)/BNYS COURSES-2015 The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India COMPETITIVE WRITTEN TEST i.e. PAT-2015 for admission to BAMS course (60 seats*), B. Pharm (Ay.) course (30 seats) and BNYS Course (30 th seats). PAT-2015 shall be held on Sunday, the 26 July, 2015 at Varanasi center. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PAT-2015 only. * Number of seats in BAMS course may be increased/decreased subject to the approval of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM)/ Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India). BAMS course will be held at Faculty of Ayurveda, IMS, BHU, Varanasi. B.Pharm (Ay.) and BNYS course will be held at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, BHU, Barkachha, Mirzapur (Under special course of study i.e. self financing) ELIGIBILITY: Qualifications: Passed intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together for BAMS/B.Pharm (Ay.)/BNYS-a minimum of 50% of marks for General and 45% for General PC candidates, 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) and respective PC candidates. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination may also apply. RESERVATION OF SEATS FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES: In all courses reservations will be followed as per the Govt. of India Rules and Regulations. The seats reserved for Physically Challenged (PC) candidates will be on horizontal basis in the above courses. st AGE: Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31 December 2015. Only those st st candidates whose date of birth falls between 1 January 1991 and 31 December 1998 (both dates st inclusive) are eligible. Those Candidates born on or before 31 December, 1990 and on or after 1 January, 1999 are not eligible. st Date of availability of Application form and Information Booklet on BHU web site th (www.bhu.ac.in/ims): 24 April 2015. TEST FEES: Rs. 1200/-for Gen/OBC and Rs. 800/-for SC/ST candidates to be paid online as per the guidelines detailed during submission of completed application form through online. No other physical forms are available and accepted. Foreign Nationals are not required to appear in the PAT-2015 examination for BAMS/B.Pharm (Ay.)/BNYS courses.
