not calculated in M.U. Grading System.
Hence GPA is not included.
•
The class is awarded for the whole year
on the aggregate of the two semesters
that comprise the year.
•
The class of the Bachelor’s Degree is
awarded on the basis of the average of
the 7th and 8th semesters’ percentages.
•
The student must clear all heads of
passing in one attempt to receive one of
the classes mentioned in the table above
failing which he receives a pass class
irrespective of percentage secured.
•
The Student must clear all heads with
40 % marks.

Students Of T.E, from ETRX department, had participated in the national
level competition of Cadence Design Contest 2010 AND WON – 1st Prize.
•
Electronic staff member Asawari Dudwadkar was awarded research grant
by Mumbai University under Minor research grant scheme for the academic
year 2012-2013 in ‘Digital Control for induction heating.
•
Students selected for national level E-Yantra robotics competition in Jan
2014. E-Yantra is an initiative by MHRD and IIT Bombay to improve the
quality of robotics and embedded systems education in the country.
•
Students won an event, “Mission Mumbai” organized by VJTI in
Technowanza.

•
Two groups from the college consisting of students of ETRX and EXTC
department participated in Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge : India
Analog Design Contest 2014.
•
Dhanesh Pradhan, Mihir Patankar, Vignesh Srinivasan, Khyati Mardia and
Audrija Mukherjee worked on ‘TADPA (TAser Defibrillator PAcemaker)’
under the guidance of Mr. Hardik Shah.
•
Malhar Chaudhari, Virag Doshi, Moumita Dey, Sarvesh Patkar, Suchitra S,
Tushar Advani, Akshay Gharge and Vinayak Joshi presented ‘Kindle for
Blind’ under the guidance of Mr. Hardik Shah.
•
Sarvesh Patkar stood 6th in India in Ramajunam Contest organized by
ISTE.

under Minor research grant scheme for the academic year 2012-2013.

 2. Nilima Warke: ‘Development of front end electronics with wide dynamic range for
universal medical analyser’
 3. Asawari Dudwadkar: ‘Digital Control for induction heating’.

Illusion '14 is an initiative by the
Cultural Council at VESIT, focused on

in the institution.

Illusion ’14, a brand new addition to the
long line of respected events at VESIT

to compete with each other and unlock
individual potential.

The formation of 6 formidable, 42membered teams in the portfolios of
Music, Dance, Drama, Literature and
Aesthetics. With innovative events
planned for every portfolio, Illusion ’14
is certainly poised to give us an event to

Octaves is a musical festival initiated
by Music Council, which was newly
introduced in year 2013-2014 and
appreciated by all.

Battle Of Bands, Scrap music,

 Honour of having more than 25 university toppers and many more rank holders.
 Students from our college had participated in the national level competition of
Cadence Design Contest 2010 and won– Ist Prize.
 Winners at various prominent inter-collegiate events like TECHNOVANZA,
PIXELS,MANTHAN, Xcelleration, Eternia , ICON.
 In MICROSOFT Imagine Cup 2010, two teams from VESIT got 3 different awards
at National level, including 2nd prize in the Software Design category and 1st prize
in Accessibility Local Innovation Award(ALIA).
