Day 3: H a r bor Cruise
Early this morning we arrive in Sydney,
Australia’s largest, oldest and most
cosmopolitan city. We’re introduced to
Sydney’s sparkling waterfront playground
during a delightful Captain Cook harbor
cruise. Gain a glimpse of the Sydney
Opera House and Harbor Bridge,
the longest single span bridge in the
world, sail past pristine parks, golden
beaches and charming harborside
neighborhoods. Afternoon finds us
arriving at the Rydges World Square
Hotel for two nights. Tonight become
acquainted with your fellow travelers
at a welcome dinner hosted by your

Day 4: Sy dney Oper a
House
Today we discover this beautiful city
with an expert local guide. We tour
the famous Sydney Opera House
and see many interesting landmarks,
including the Queen Victoria Building,
the Royal Botanic Gardens, Hyde
Park, bustling Kings Cross and
popular Bondi Beach. During our
luncheon in the Sydney Tower
Revolving Restaurant, we enjoy panoramic views of the harbor and city.
Later there’s time to visit the attractions of Darling Harbor or The Rocks.

Skyrail Rain Forest Cableway
Darling Harbor is Sydney’s favorite
destination for leisure and entertainment, with more than 40 restaurants,
cafes, museums, theaters, parks and
specialty shops. The Rocks is one
of the most prestigious addresses in
Sydney with its beautifully restored
houses and buildings, spectacular
views across the harbor and

Day 5: Tropic a l C a ir ns
This morning we fly to tropical
Cairns in Far North Queensland.
This is the gateway city to many of
Australia’s natural wonders, including
the Great Barrier Reef. We journey to
Mossman Gorge located in Daintree
National Park where nature displays
magnificent rain forest cascading down
to the boulder strewn Mossman River.

Today we experience one of the most
spectacular rail excursions in the world
- the Kuranda Scenic Train. Our journey
provides unsurpassed views of World
Heritage listed rain forest, steep ravines
and picturesque waterfalls within the
Barron Gorge National Park. Upon
arrival in Kuranda, there’s plenty of time
to explore this fascinating mountaintop
village and visit the Heritage Markets
which are full of colorful and interesting
arts and crafts. Later we descend
the magnificent MacAlister Range on
Skyrail, a 4.7 mile gondola cableway.
Enjoy spectacular views of the rain
forest, tropical Cairns, the Coral Sea
and the lush Cairns Highlands as we

Today we experience one of the highlights of our tour, a visit to the Great
Barrier Reef. We cruise to Moore Reef
located on the outer edge of the reef,
the world’s largest living organism. The
reef is one of Australia’s greatest national treasures and stretches more than
1,200 miles along the coast. We view
vividly colored tropical fish and coral
from the reef viewer, underwater observatory and glass bottom boat. Learn
about the interesting fish and marine life
that inhabit this underwater wonderland.
Enjoy breathtaking sights of the Great
Barrier Reef on an included scenic helicopter flight. Swim, snorkel or just relax

This morning we fly to Brisbane, the
subtropical capital of Queensland and
one of Australia’s most livable cities. Our
tour takes us into the Brisbane city center, past many historical and significant
architectural buildings, including City
Hall, Parliament House and St. John’s
Cathedral. We travel south to O’Reilly’s
Rainforest Retreat located in the heart of
one of the world’s great sub-tropical rain
forests –World Heritage Lamington
National Park. Enjoy a brief tour of the
Retreat and facilities and get ready to
explore the magnificent rain forest and
its many attractions. Walk through the
treetops on the famous Treetop Walk
and inspect the extensive display of
plants and flowers in the nearby botanical gardens. We overnight at O’Reilly’s
Rainforest Retreat for two delightful
nights. Enjoy the night sky with its
remarkable clarity and beauty. Never
before has the Southern Cross been

Day 9: O’Reilly’s Retreat
Start the day with O’Reilly’s famous bird
walk and meet the hundreds of birds
that feed each morning at the Retreat.
During breakfast a rain forest guide will
invite us to participate in the day’s guided
activities. Guided walks, a four-wheel
drive trip to magnificent locations and
morning and afternoon tea are included.
Tonight enjoy a nature presentation at
the Retreat Theater or enjoy a guided
walk to view nocturnal creatures
such as possums, pademelons

Day 10: Crocodile

We depart our secluded rainforest
retreat and head north to the Sunshine
Coast. The magnificent beaches along
the Sunshine Coast make it a holiday
destination for many Australians. We
visit the Australia Zoo, situated in the
shadow of the Glasshouse Mountains,
home of legendary television personality, Steve Irwin the “Crocodile Hunter.”
See colorful, soaring birds and those
prehistoric legends, the big saltwater
crocodiles in the Crocoseum.

Experience hands-on animal encounters like nowhere else in the world. Pet a
koala, hand-feed kangaroos, wallabies
and see emus, wombats, dingoes,
cassowaries and kookaburras. We
arrive at our oceanfront home for the

This morning we visit the world famous
outdoor markets in Eumundi. More
than 350 market stalls showcase a
wonderful mix of local produce, arts,
crafts and fashion. We enjoy lunch at
the Ginger Café in Yandina located on
the grounds of the world’s largest ginger factory. Enjoy a stroll through acres
of exotic plant-life with beautiful water
features and browse the largest selection of Buderim Ginger products in the
world! Later we have the unique opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour
of Steve Irwin’s Australian Wildlife
Hospital. Steve’s dream was to provide
a lifeline for nature’s innocent victims providing sick, injured and orphaned
wildlife with leading-edge treatment
and rehabilitation before eventual
release back to the wild. We will
observe animals receiving treatment,
converse with medical staff and learn
more about Australia’s unique wildlife.
The remainder of the afternoon is free
to experience Caloundra’s charm and
stroll along the coastal boardwalks
beside Bulcock and Kings Beach. L

Eco-cruise
This morning we follow the stunning
coastline rimmed with wide stretches
of clean, white sand beaches to
Noosa. We experience the rich history
and natural beauty that earned Noosa
the title of Queensland’s first UNESCO
biosphere. The Noosa Eco-Cruise
provides spectacular views of beaches,
mountains, birds and marine life. We
enjoy a short guided walk to discover
native plants, then reboard our vessel
for a generous morning tea in the
shadow of the National Park. There’s
time to stroll along Noosa’s famous
Main Beach and visit fashionable
Hastings Street, home to the best
in boutiques, renowned cafes and
restaurants. We gather this evening

Guaranteed Prices Holiday Vacations’
published tour prices are based on the rates
known at the time of publication and are
expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Once we have received your deposit,
your price is guaranteed, and any subsequent price increase is at our expense.
Reservations Make reservations well in
advance. Space requested by phone will be
held for five business days, pending receipt
of the required deposit by mail, telephone
or in person. Reservations made after the
indicated final payment due date must be
paid in full at the time of reservation.
A Deposit Of $200 Per Person A deposit
must accompany all reservation requests.
Personal check, money order, Discover,
MasterCard or VISA are acceptable forms
of payment. The deposit is fully refundable
prior to the final payment due date.
Hazardous Materials Federal law forbids
the carriage of hazardous materials
aboard aircraft in your luggage or on
your person. A violation can result in
five years imprisonment and penalties
of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124).
Hazardous materials include explosives,
compressed gases, flammable liquids
and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives
and radioactive materials. Examples:
Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases,
oxygen bottles, and radiopharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for
small quantities (up to 70 ounces total)
of medicinal and toilet articles carried in
your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further

visit faa.gov.
Final Payment A balance due date
and amount will be indicated on your tour
invoice deposit receipt. We accept credit
cards but appreciate final payments to
be made by check or money order.
Airport Departure Cities Departure cities
are subject to change due to limited or
discontinued airline service. The availability
of airline seats may be limited from each
departure city. Holiday Vacations reserves
the right to provide ground transportation
to or from a larger or alternate airport.
Special Requests Individual requests must
be made when booking. Requests for (non)
smoking, special dietary needs, and adjoining, handicap accessible or other room
types are subject to confirmation and
cannot be guaranteed.
Departure From Cities Not Listed
You may request a departure from a
city not listed. Holiday’s air department
will determine the feasibility of your
request and advise you of any additional
cost, if applicable.
Surcharges Included Tour prices are
guaranteed and include airfare, federal taxes,
airport security charges, airline segment fees,
airport passenger facility charges and fuel
surcharges, if applicable. International airfare
also includes applicable airport fees and
taxes assessed by individual countries. Airline
luggage fees are an additional charge and
are payable directly to the airlines at check-in.
Land Only Price You may request a land
only price. If the tour is purchased as
land only, it will be your responsibility to
meet the group at the arrival airport at
the time designated by Holiday Vacations.
If you prefer, you can join the tour at the
first night’s hotel. Taxi or other airport
transfer costs are not included for
independent arrival or departure.

solicit requests and seating cannot be

Award Miles Please be advised that some
commercial airlines offer reduced award
miles to travelers booked on a group reservation. Holiday Vacations is happy to submit
your frequent flyer number to the airlines,
but makes no guarantee that full mileage
will be awarded.
Persons Needing Special Assistance
The ability to perform assorted levels of
activity while traveling varies between
each individual. Although we welcome
your questions regarding the amount of
activity on any tour, Holiday Vacations is
unable to determine your travel health
and fitness level. Please consult your
doctor with questions when evaluating
your ability to travel.
Holiday Vacations is unable to provide
attendant services. We strongly advise
persons with special needs to travel
with someone who can assist them.
Tour participants requiring special
assistance for other than personal
needs must notify Holiday Vacations
in writing to determine what assistance
can be provided. Children traveling on
tour must be at least eight years old
and accompanied by an adult.
Reservation Changes Requests for
changes in flight schedules, early or
extended hotel stays or for other eligible
components of the tour should be made
prior to the final payment date. A nonrefundable processing fee of $50 per person will apply for any change requested
prior to the final payment date and $100
per person for any change requested
on or after the final payment date. These
fees are in addition to any costs or
penalties from suppliers.
Insurance Holiday Vacations recognizes
the value and importance of travel
insurance for our customers. We offer
an optional Travel Protection Plan, which
includes accident and sickness coverage,
baggage protection, trip interruption
and cancellation insurance. An insurance
brochure will be sent with your tour
invoice deposit receipt or may be
requested in advance. For your
convenience, the insurance premium
is included on your tour invoice.
Processing fees for a voluntary change
in airport departure or for other requested
changes are not covered by this insurance. Insurance must be paid for on
or before your final payment due date.
solo Travelers Holiday Vacations
welcomes solo travelers. We will try to
assist in arranging a roommate for any
person wishing to share accommodations
at the double occupancy tour rate. Should
a shared arrangement not be available,
the single price applies.
Cruise Line Charges Additional fees
applied by the cruise lines are not
included in your tour price. These fees
include but are not limited to: daily
service charge for cabin & wait staff,
specialty restaurant cover charges
and optional shore excursions.
Triple & Quad These accommodations
are usually in rooms with two double
beds. A rollaway bed or cot is subject
to availability on a request basis.
Photography & Video on Tour Holiday
Vacations reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos on any of its tours
and to use such records for promotional
and/or commercial purposes.
Reservation Name/Identification
The requirement to collect your date
of birth, gender and full name as it
appears on the government issued
photo identification you will use on
your tour is federally mandated by the
Transportation Security Administration.

Passport Required It is Holiday
Vacations’ policy that all tours traveling
outside of the United States require
a valid U.S. Passport in the form of a
Passport book. Your Passport must be
valid for 6 months from the end date
of your tour. Passport cards and enhanced
driver’s licenses are NOT acceptable
forms of identification for any Holiday
Vacations tour traveling outside of the
United States.
Tour Documents Tour packets will be
mailed at least ten days before your tour
departure date. This material includes tour
pickup location and time, a tour itinerary,
hotel list and luggage tag.
Gratuities Tips for all the included
features of your tour (baggage handling,
included meals, etc.) will be taken care
of by your Tour Director. Tips for meals
on your own or for other services are
at your discretion. Customary tips for
the Tour Director & Driver are on a
voluntary basis and given individually.
Suggested gratuities will be provided
with your tour documents.
Train Routes & schedules Please note
that train schedules and/or routes are
subject to change by railroad passenger
services. No liability shall be incurred by
Holiday Vacations for subsequent changes
to train schedules and/or routes.
On tour, each person is allowed
one suitcase which will be handled
for you at hotels. In addition, you may
carry a small bag aboard. Carry-on
articles are the responsibility of each
person. Carry-ons that do not fit in the
overhead compartments may be charged
as an additional piece of luggage.
Additional pieces of luggage will be
handled for you at hotels at a cost
of $4 per bag, per day or at the cost
specified for some tours. Though every
effort will be made to safeguard your
baggage, Holiday Vacations accepts
no liability for loss or damage.
