Tourism Advisory Board - 2015
The Chesapeake Tourism Advisory Board, a
15-member board appointed by City Council, makes
recommendations to the Chesapeake Convention &
Visitors Bureau relative to the promotion of tourism,
conference, and conventions in the City. Meetings are
regularly scheduled for 3 p.m. the fourth Wednesday
of every other month starting in January at the Parks,
Recreation and Tourism Administrative Office.

appointed by City Council. This board makes
recommendations to the Department concerning
rules, policy and the annual operating budget.
Meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday
of the month at 6 pm at designated Parks,
Recreation and Tourism facilities.
