PWRDF ASSISTS VANUATU - The Primates World Relief and
Development Fund has announced an initial grant of $20,000 in relief

all development of recent years and his country would have to rebuild
“everything”.” PWRDF continues to monitor the situation, and are in
contact about the relief needs in Vanuatu. You can support PWRDF’s
relief efforts in Vanuatu by making your cheques payable to
“PWRDF”, mark them for “Vanuatu” and mail them to: PWRDF, The
Anglican Church of Canada, 80 Hayden Street, Toronto,

Service Information
Collect of the Day, 5th Sunday in Lent, BAS p. 295
Most merciful God, by the death and resurrection of your Son Jesus
Christ, you created humanity anew. May the power of his victorious
cross transform those who turn in faith to him who lives and reigns with
you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Service Information
Collect of the Day, Ash Wednesday, BAS p. 281
Almighty and everlasting God, you despise nothing you have made and
forgive the sins of all who are penitent. Create and make in us new and
contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging
our brokenness, may obtain of you, the God of all mercy, perfect
remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one, God, for ever and ever.

Prayer Over the Gifts, For BAS only
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation; through
your goodness we have this bread to offer, which earth
has given and human hands have made. It will become for
us the Bread of Heaven.
Blessed be God forever.
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation; through your
goodness we have this wine to offer, fruit of the vine and
work of human hands. It will become for us the Cup of
Salvation.
Blessed be God forever.

MONTHLY MISSION
***
BCP p.67
BAS p.185
BAS p.185
Our Monthly Mission offering for March is the Precious Jewels
Ministry. We pray for the Precious Jewels Ministry, for Joke Bergink,
Lorrie Anderson and the team. May God give them compassion, love
and patience as they minister to the children in crisis in the Philippines
and Uganda.
From the Psalm This Week …
‘With my whole heart have I sought thee;
O let me not go astray from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid within my heart, that I should not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O Lord; O teach me thy statutes…
I will meditate upon thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.
My delight shall be in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy word.’
Psalm 119:10-12, 15 –16 (BCP)
Acknowledgement - As we gather we recognize that we live, work and
play on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples. We also join
in a line of Anglicans who have worshipped on these lands. As we
continue we commit ourselves as a settler church and people to
continue with our First Nations neighbours on the journey of truth and
reconciliation.
