Please detach the slip and return it on or before the deadline April 16, 2015. DJIS would like to clarify the following points: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The limited number of available places should urge its enrolled students to register to ensure their places. Enrolled students who do not register within the set deadline will lose their places and no response will be also considered as a notification of discontinuance in school for SY 2015-2016. Please refer to the attachment for fees of SY 2015-2016. a. The reservation fee is SR2500 per current student. Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE but DEDUCTIBLE from the tuition fee. b. Seat reservation for current students will not be allowed unless second semester fees are fully settled. c. New students with siblings already enrolled in the school will be given priority based on availability and compliance with the registration deadline. Registration fee is SR4200 per student, NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-DEDUCTIBLE from tuition fee. d. Both the reservation fee and seat will be cancelled if the student joins the school 2 weeks after the commencement of classes, unless he/she obtains a written approval by the school administration prior to the summer vacation. e. Students who have reserved their places and registered but reported late to school with a written approval from administration will have to make up for the missed classes on their own. Registration of New Students and Siblings: a. Submission of new applications is from March 29 – April 16, 2015 and can also be done online via our school website. b. Entrance exams will be on the following dates: April 4 / April 11 / April 18 / April 25 / May 2 / May 9. c. Entrance exam fee is SR500 and non-refundable. d. Conditions for acceptance are as follows: i. Passing grade is 75% for each subject. Subjects of Assessment: Grades 2-6: English/Math Grade 7: English/Math/Science Grades 8-12: English/Math/Chemistry/Physics/Biology ii. Student’s evaluation by the school psychologist. iii. Parent’s interview. e. In case of acceptance, parents have to pay registration and first semester fees in order to ensure their children’s places. If parents do not comply with the dates assigned for registration, the student will lose his/her enrollment status. In case student is re-enrolled, depending on availability, parents have to pay the registration fees again of a newly enrolled student (SR4200).
