LR 622 16s GB

Technical description
Crawler loader
LR 622
litronic`
Engine output 97 kW / 132 HP
Operating weight 15.4 – 17.0 t / 34,000 – 37,500 lb
Bucket capacity 1.54 – 1.80 m3 / 2.01 – 2.35 cu.yd.
Hydrostatic travel drive with electronic control
The better machine.
The emissions optimized
engine.
The heart of the LR 622 Litronic is its sturdy turbocharged diesel engine with an output of 97 kW.
Liebherr diesel engines are specially made for
construction machine applications ensuring long
operating life.
They are emissions optimized and very economical
through low fuel consumption. The low engine
speed increases lifetime as well as reduces noise
emissions.
The hydrostatic drive.
Both tracks are driven independently by one
hydraulic pump and one hydraulic motor each. The
hydrostatic drive enables the machine to accelerate
travel forwards and reverse continuously and brake
without wear. Constant high efficiency can be
expected through the hydrostatic drive. Just one
joystick offers the operator excellent precision
steering all the way up to counter-rotation on the
spot.
With the press of a button, the operator can select
between two speed ranges.
In addition the LR 622 has a parking and safety
braking system installed in the final drive entirely
separated from the travel drive.
The Litronic Control.
The LR 622 travel drive is controlled and monitored by the Litronic System. It actively monitors
the current machine condition and is activated by
deviations from normal settings in the travel drive.
The integrated electronic engine speed sensing
control protects the machine against overload.
Exact straight travel is ensured with the Litronic
System.
The travel drive: versatile and economical.
2
Maneuverability.
Thanks to the hydrostatic travel drive, the LR 622 can also be controlled safely
and precisely in limited space.
3
Innovative track frame
technology.
The LR 622 has a specially developed track frame
for all kinds of applications.
Sturdy construction, high stability and increased
shock absorption were important factors when
designing the track frame.
The track frame has an oscillating suspension.
The cushioned suspension reduces shock loads to
the operator and the machine.
Cushioned track frame suspension.
Due to the machine's balanced center of gravity
combined with the long track, the LR 622 remains
stable even when travelling over ramps. The added
ground clearance makes the LR 622 the perfect
crawler loader in difficult terrain.
The track frame: Sturdy and stable.
4
Track gauge.
Because the track is connected to the main frame by only the
rugged pivot shaft and the oscillating equalizer bar, the track
gauge can be varied retaining all standard drive components.
Track frame oscillation.
The track frame has an oscillating suspension that reduces
engine vibration and shock loads to the operator.
5
Attachment hydraulics.
The attachment hydraulics have load sensing
control resulting in optimal precise control of the
attachment and reduced fuel consumption as
well as low hydraulic oil temperature.
The working attachment.
In order to provide high levels of operational safety
during the most difficult applications, the front
equipment is especially solid. For example,
we only use high-quality cast steel for parts that
are under extreme stress like the cross-pipe and
the Z-bar.
Front attachment.
Liebherr has available the right bucket option for every application,
starting with the standard bucket and including the 4-in-1 bucket,
all the way up to the special waste or heavy duty bucket.
Cross-pipe and
Z-bar are made of
cast steel.
The bucket pin, which gets
dirty easily due to its exposed
position, is constantly sealed
and lubricated to guarantee
maximum operational life.
The working attachment: powerful and ve
6
Ripper.
The ripper is mounted laterally
and thus increases rear load
weight only slightly.
rsatile.
7
Operating and maintenance
friendly.
The LR 622 cab is made to meet all the demands of
a modern construction machine. It offers roominess,
ergonomically optimized operating elements,
safety with integrated ROPS/ FOPS and excellent
visibility of the working attachment.
All travel drive functions are controlled with a
single joystick allowing the operator to fully
concentrate on the work to be done.
Single joystick operation.
The travel speed is regulated with the joystick,
by pushing the lever forwards (forward travel)
or backwards (reverse travel). The further the joystick is pushed, the higher the speed. By pulling
the joystick back, the machine can be slowed
or stopped gently. Curve travel is accomplished by
pushing the lever to the side.
To control the machine's movements, the operator
can choose between two speed ranges. All operating conditions are monitored by the Litronic
System. When critical values are reached, the operator is informed optically.
All of the LR 622 Litronic's maintenance points
are easily accessible. Long maintenance intervals
and short maintenance times result in ease of
maintenance.
Working environment: visibility and funct
8
Engine Compartment.
All maintenance points are accessible from one side ensuring
short maintenance times and ease of maintenance.
Foot Pedal Controls.
Optionally, the LR 622 crawler loader can be equipped
with foot pedal controls.
Tilted cab.
The tiltable cab offers optimal accessibility to the travel
drive.
ionality.
