ABOUT THE DRAKE HOUSE Homelessness is a growing problem in the North Fulton area. With today’s economic and housing downturn, the problem has never been greater. The Drake House offers emergency residential housing and support services to homeless single mothers and their children, with the goal of returning these families to self-‐sufficiency. A key component of our program is that it allows male children over 12 to remain with their families, rather than being placed in a men’s shelter. The Drake House ensures that a family stays together and the children remain in their schools without disruption to their education.
