A three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or
Marketing with at least five years experience in gemmology or jewelry making.
Must have a proven record of knowledge of semi-precious stones. Excellent
English and report writing skills. Sound administrative, time management and
project management skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A
Code 8 driver’s licence. A Certificate in Gemmology or Jewelry making will be an
advantage.
Grade 12 or Technical Drawing Certificate with two years of expereince in the
Jewelry industry.

Plan, organise and coordinate the production line according to the scheduled
programme; assist in promoting client relations and identify marketing opportunities.

CLOSING DATE: 24 APRIL 2015
Provide basic technical training to trainees; assist to develop authorisations for
stamping jewelry; assist with the identification of international distribution channels
of jewelry; initiate the mobilisation of resources; ensure compliance to existing
rules and regulations; liaise with relevant stakeholders; provide and facilitate information flow between different programme partners; manage the center’s finances
and submit quarterly reports; market the Gemstone Centre.
