HOW TO APPLY
Candidates desirous of applying against Advt. No. 06/VSA/2015/TG2 for the post
of ”Technician
Grade-2 (Trainee)”
in UTTAR PRADESH POWER
CORPORATION LTD. are required to apply ONLINE only, by visiting the UPPCL
official website www.uppcl.org .Before Depositing Application Fee and
submission of Application Form, please read the detailed “Advertisement”, “How
to Apply” Page and “Important Information” Page carefully. Stepwise instructions
are given below in Phase-I and Phase-II:
PHASE I(Instructions for Payment of Application Fee):
Step 1: Visit the official Website of UPPCL
www.uppcl.org
Step 2: Click on the “Apply online against advt. no 6/VSA/2015/TG-II”.A
webpage will open. Go through the detailed Advertisement, Important
Instructions and ‘How to Apply’ pages.
Step 3:After reading the detailed Advertisement, ‘Important Instructions’ and
‘How To Apply’ pages, and if you find yourself eligible, then go to the Home
page again, and click on the link- “Deposit Application Fee /Proceed to
Pay” tab. You will be navigated to the Payment Gateway of the State Bank of
India.
Step 4: Accept the disclaimer clause and click ‘Proceed’.
Step 5: Select the mode of Payment – Net banking/payment through ATM
cum Debit Card/Credit Card/Payment Gateway or through SBI Challan (by
clicking- Other Modes), etc., and make payment as per the fee structure
given below:
Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Candidates of
Uttar Pradesh only.
All other categories

Note: Bank Charges (Transaction Charges) are to be paid extra by the
candidates.
Step 6: After making payment through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/
Payment Gateway successfully, take printout of E receipt for future reference.
PHASE II (Filling of Application Form):

For
Filling and Completion of Application Form, visit
www.uppcl.org again after two days of Depositing Fee and click on
the link “Apply Online against Advt. No. 06/VSA/2015/TG2” for the
post of “Technician Grade-2 (Trainee)”
Step 8: On the Home page click on the Tab “Fill Application Form – Apply
Now” tab. A new page will appear. Login with Bank Transaction (DU
XXXXXX) as user ID and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) as password.
A new page Containing Important Information, Terms and Conditions will
appear. You need to read the Important Information and Terms & Conditions
carefully. If you are agree with the Declaration, Terms and Conditions, click
on the Tab I have Read & Accepted the above Conditions”. As soon as
you will click on the Tab “Continue” the Main Application Form with few
prefilled fields will appear, which you have provided at the time of depositing
the fee.
Step 9: Fill up and complete the Application Form (remaining
information/data), and upload your passport size photograph and Sample
Signature of desired dimensions, size and resolution, and ensure that no field
is left unfilled and click to accept the declaration.
Step 10: After that click on the Tab “Preview for Final Submission” and
preview of all the information filled in the application will be displayed. Kindly
ensure that the Photograph /Sample Signature/data/details (like Name,
Address, etc.,) are correctly filled and appearing clearly. If you want to edit
the filled data, then click on the Tab “Back to Edit”
Step 11: Edit the information (if needed), and then click on the Declaration
Tab again, and click on the Tab “Preview for Final Submission”. After
preview, if the details/data/Photograph/sample signature provided in the
application form are in order/correct then click on “Submit (Final)” Tab.
Step 12: After submission of Application Form you will get confirmation by
SMS/E-mail, immediately. Take the printout of the PDF file generated
immediately after submission of Application Form for future reference.
Note: - For queries /doubts regarding filling of Application Form click on the
Tab Contact Us provided at the end of the form.

 A valid E-mail ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for the submission of
Online Application. This E-Mail ID,Mobile number and Photo ID as
mentioned in the application form should be kept active/alive till the
declaration of final result. UTTAR PRADESH POWER CORPORATION LTD.
will send all information in respect of downloading of Provisional Admit
Card for Written Test/ Interview call letter through your Registered Email
ID/Mobile Number only.
 It is advisable to get the scanned images of your recent coloured
passport size photograph (Dimension 200x230 pixels and size of the
file should be upto 100kb, Scanner resolution minimum 200 dpi) & Scan
of your signature (Dimension 200x 60 pixels and size of the file should
be up to 100 kb, Scanner resolution minimum 200 dpi) in a CD/DVD/Pen
drive in JPG/ JPEG format at the time of filling of online application form.
The above documents in soft copy will be required for uploading & final
submission of your Online Application Form.
CANDIDATES MUST PLEASE NOTE OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS:
THE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE MINIMUM REQUIRED ELLIGIBLE
QUALIFICATIONS AT THE TIME OF FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM.
THE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED ELIGIBLE COMPUTER COURSE
CERTIFICATE AS MENTIONED IN THE ADVERTISEMENT AT THE TIME OF FILLING
THE APPLICATION FORM.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION WILL BE HELD AT Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly,
Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Noida AND Varanasi CITIES.
HOWEVER, INTERVIEW WILL BE HELD AT LUCKNOW ONLY. ELECTRICITY

CARD/VOTER ID/DRIVING LICENSE/ PASSPORT/BANK PASSBOOK WITH
PHOTO/SCHOOL OR COLLEGE IDENTITY CARD, ETC ).
ESC WILL ARRANGE TO DISPLAY ANSWER KEY OF THE OBJECTIVE TYPE
QUESTIONS,WITHIN 2 WORKING DAYS AFTER WRITTEN TEST/EXAMINATION
ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE www.uppcl.org REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE
INVITED FROM THE CANDIDATES AGAINST THE WRONG ANSWER-KEY (IF ANY)
DISPLAYED, ALONG WITH THE DOCUMENTRY EVIDENCE, THROUGH THE E-MAIL
helpdesk.tg615@gmail.com AND THE CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED
TO SENDTHEIR REPRESENTATIONS WITHIN 03(THREE) DAYS FROM THE DATE
AND TIME OF DISPLAY OF THE ANSWER-KEY. THEREAFTER, NO
REPRESENTATIONS SHALL BE ENTERTAINED.
IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE GIVEN IN THE ADVERTISEMENT
No. 06/VSA/2015/TG2 AND CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO READ IT
CAREFULLY. IN CASE OF ANY AMBIGUITY/SHORT OF INFORMATION, THE
EXISTING POLICIES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF UTTAR PRADESH POWER
CORPORATION LTD WILL BE FINAL.
ANY PAYMENT MADE THROUGH ONLINE (NET-BANKING/DEBIT CARD/CREDIT
CARD/ THE NEXT PAYMENT GATEWAY) AFTER 20.00 HOURS WILL BE
REFLECTED AS PAYMENT OF WORKING DAY. HENCE, BE CAREFUL WHILE
MAKING ONLINE PAYMENT ON THE LAST DAY OF DEPOSITING APPLICATION
FEE. ON THE LAST DAY YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE PAYMENT IS MADE
BEFORE 20.00 HRS.
