Q: Why my Win8/Win8.1 Pro operation system popups an error that VT-X is not enabled when I
install HAXM or other VM softwares?
A: We provide two solutions for your reference.
(1) Windows 8/Windows 8.1 Pro Hyper-V blocks the detections of VT-x from other VM software.
Please turn off Hyper-V in Control Panel-->Programs and Features –>Turn Windows Features
on and off. Make sure that all of Hyper-V are turned off. Then reboot the laptop.
