undertaking a study to analyze Georgia's aerospace and defense
sectors. We are entering the survey portion of the study and we
need your help in publicizing the initiative, and in completing a
short (8 question) confidential on-line survey.
The GDEcD's Workforce division and Center of Innovation for
Aerospace are partnering on the GUARD Initiative, funded largely
through a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD)
Office of Economic Adjustment.

The WWII Heritage Days presented by
the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air
Force (CAF) is held in Peachtree City
each year to educate the public about the
sacrifices of "the greatest generation"
during World War II.
Featured this year will be the CAF B-24
Liberator "Diamond Lil". This incredibly
rare B-24A model was one of the very first off the assembly line
and is one of two still flying in the world.
The recent bestselling book and block-buster movie "Unbroken",
featured the B-24 and tells the inspirational story of Louis
Zamperini. The B-24 will be available for tours and flights - and for
a very special event -five WWII B-24 crew members are
scheduled for a "Warbird in Review" and will share their wartime
experiences.

hand-painted artwork on one or both
sides of the jacket. The condition is
irrelevant.
If you know of any flight jackets that meet Slemp's design brief,
you can contact him directly at john@aerographs.com.
