Mental Health First Aid Training
Learning about mental illness reduces the stigma and isolation for persons with a mental illness. Mental Health
First Aid teaches participants how they can be helpful members of our community, who they may encounter
with a mental illness and how to be the bridge to those who need professional support.

Powers of Attorney and Illinois Living Will Declarations
YOU are invited to a FREE presentation by the Center for Disability & Elder Law addressing the legal services
available to you at no cost for creating your own powers of attorney for healthcare and property and living will
declarations. An attorney from CDEL will explain the importance of the documents, and what seniors should
consider when selecting an agent. The Center for Disability & Elder Law is a nonprofit organization dedicated
to protecting and advancing the legal rights of low-income senior citizens and persons with disabilities in Cook
County since 1984.

Learn how to determine the current quality of your ZZZ's and more importantly, how to make those slumbering
hours as restorative as possible.

Walk for Health will take place at the newly renovated 17-acre Gordon Park campus at Ogden and Tilden
Avenues in La Grange. Area seniors are invited to enjoy the paved walking/jogging path while joining the
