members sold $3,484
and raised $1742 for
the program!
All funds raised will go
towards Fort Bend 4-H
events
hosted
by
County
Council,
including an upcoming
dance scheduled to
take place after the
awards
banquet
in
August.

All Fort Bend 4-H and FFA

attend a rabbit project
seminar on Saturday, May
9, 2015. Michael Heaton of
Heaton Rabbits in Cuero
will focus on topics such as
selecting a breeder, cages
and
housing, feeding,
showmanship, and more.

for the first Virtual Fishing
Contest,
May
22—25,
2015. All active Fort Bend
4-H members are invited to
participate.

due into the Extension

Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
The seminar will be located

Program
There will be a Basic
Angler
Program
on
Saturday, June 6, 2015 at
Seabourne Creek Nature
Park in Rosenberg, TX.
The program is targeted
towards all county youth
ages 5 to 12 years old. (I
spy—the first to see this
and e-mail Jennifer wins
a gift card). Topics
covered include casting,
knot tying, habitat, and
more!

free,

Nature Watch Camp
(formerly Day Camp)
Fort Bend Nature Watch
Camp will be Wednesday,
July 22, 2015 at the FBC
fairgrounds. Camp is open
to all Fort Bend youth
between the ages of 6 and
10. 4-H volunteers are
needed!
