a seasonal group dining facility perfect for corporate outings, university functions,
rehearsal dinners, birthdays and special occasions
Our tented Pavilion is able to accommodate 20 to 150 guests. We have seating for up to 120 guests, and larger
groups may have additional costs for seating beyond our maximum (& potentially for extra weather protection).
Food must be all on 1 ticket and we can arrange for Brunch, Lunch, Dinner or ‘Happy Hour’ style events.
There are a few options for alcoholic drinks (see below). Standard events run for two hours starting as early as
9:00 am, with the last reservation ending by 9:00 pm.
Basic Set-Up for Events:
To rent our Pavilion there is a $500 minimum in food
 A 2 hour time slot in our private facility & service are included in the price of our Events Menu
options. Additional hours are $150 per hour, or fraction thereof. Your guests must exit the premises
w/in 15 minutes of your end time. We cannot extend events the day of, all additional time must be
pre-arranged.
 We have multiple entrée choices for a Full Service Buffet, including sides, bottomless chips & house
salsas, non-alcoholic refreshments, starting at $25 per person. Appetizers, salads and desserts can be
ordered by item in addition to entrees.
 For an Appetizer & drinks style event, we also have a $500 minimum in food. Tip on menu:
including some entrees can expand your choices here, so don’t rule them out!
 Choose an Alcoholic Drink Option from below, if you’re planning to have the option available to
guests. We highly recommend having at least the option for adults 21+ to purchase their own drinks.
Guests are not allowed to buy drinks in the Café & bring to the event at the Pavilion.
Alcoholic Drink Options:
Hosted Bar – all margaritas, beers, wine served are totaled, & charged to main bill.
Cash Bar - $100 set-up fee, then guests are able to purchase drinks with cash or card.
Partial Hosted Bar/Drink Tickets – For drink tickets, you decide how many per person, hand them
out, & guests can use them for any drink (margarita, beer, or wine). We charge for the drink tickets
based on what is served, & add to the main bill. They are not valued at any dollar amount, so any
unused tickets are not charged. Additional drinks will be available for guests to purchase, & the Cash
Bar fee waived because you are hosting some drinks!

Weather/Venue Info We are unable to control the whims of Mother Nature, but we do have propane heaters,
extra shade tents, and clear sided tent panels available to help make your dining experience more comfortable.
Our floor for the pavilion is gravel, so we do not recommend stilettos & but do recommend to let your guests
know to dress for forecasted weather. We can fully enclose 60 guests for a seated event in case of inclement
weather, additional coverage for 1-2 more party tents may be necessary for large events in stormy weather ($250400/tent). However, we also have a few large tents that can protect up to 110 guests for light rain, which is more
than often the case in the PNW during the summer.
Parking After 4:00pm weekdays, and all-day Saturday & Sunday, the UofW upper gravel lot (W-28) across the
street from the Cafe is available for free! Parking is available in the lower Boat Street Marina lot East of the Café
(pay per hour, up to 4 hrs), and is closest to the Pavilion & Paddle Club. There is an additional Pay lot one
(long) block West of Agua Verde on the corner of Pacific & Boat streets. We strongly encourage you to carpool
when possible. Street parking is available all day (for 2 hours maximum) & you pay for the hours from 7am-8pm.
Confirmations & Cancellations To reserve the Pavilion we require a $300 deposit. This will be applied towards
your final bill at the end of your event. Cancellations must be made two weeks in advance of your reservation to
qualify for a partial refund; refunds are subject to an administration fee of $100. If we are not notified within two
weeks that you’re cancelling a confirmed date, we cannot reimburse any of the $300 deposit.
Contact Please visit our website www.aguaverde.com for photos and additional information. The best way to
contact us for date & time slot inquiries is to fill out the Café’s Reservation Request form found on our Café
Events page. We respond to requests Mon-Fri, by email initially, and the next step is scheduling a meeting, via
phone or in person. We will discuss your event, & draft a quote. Events email: Events@aguaverde.com. The
Café office can be reached at (206)545-8570, by pressing ext. 1 for the Café, then 2 for the Café office.
COMBO Events with Paddling (Kayak, Food, Ambience) The Café & Paddle Club make reservations separately.
However, after you’ve made your arrangements we coordinate the details for you! Typical events have guests
kayak, then return for dining & drinking! The other way around creates less participation in the outdoor activities,
and is always best for safety!! For more info, or to make arrangements for a Paddle adventure, call the Paddle
club at (206)545-8570 ext. 212, for more info. Note: the Paddle Club does not make reservations on weekends or
holidays, during the months of June, July & August.
