AIPPI BALTIC CONFERENCE
What’s up IP?
Developments in Intellectual
Property Law and Practice
2-5 September 2015
Tallinn, Estonia
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Estonian Group of AIPPI, I would like to cordially invite you to attend the AIPPI
Baltic Conference 2015. The conference will take place in Tallinn, Estonia from 2-5 September
2015. The conference is open for members and non-members of AIPPI.
The title of the event is “What’s up IP? Developments in Intellectual Property Law and Practice”
and the main topics for the conference will be:
»» IP highlights in the neighbouring countries and the new legal framework for the protection
of trade secrets in the EU
»» European Patent System and Unified Patent Court
»» IP litigation (judges panel)
The Organising Committee has invited nationally and internationally well-recognized speakers
from the Baltic countries, Scandinavia, Germany, Spain, Russia and the USA who will present
and discuss the latest developments in the above-mentioned fields.
The format of the AIPPI Baltic Conference 2015 provides variety and has a social programme,
which includes a welcome reception at the venue hotel, a cultural evening at the majestic
Kadriorg Palace and a conference dinner at the legendary Seaplane Harbour.
The venue is situated close to the Old Town of Tallinn. Tallinn’s medieval Old Town is wellknown for its well-preserved completeness and authentic Hanseatic architecture. Enchanting
atmosphere, rich cultural scene, beautiful surroundings and plenty of galleries, cafés and
restaurants to choose from. Post-Conference Tours will be available on 5 September 2015 for
those wishing to take full advantage of their time in Tallinn. The separate program has been
put together specifically for people registering to attend the conference as an accompanying
person.
All in all, attending our conference presents great value and an excellent opportunity to meet
experts in all areas of IP law from the Baltics and around the world.
I look forward to welcoming you to Tallinn in September and sincerely hope that you will join
us in making this congress an outstanding success.
