The request was met with an enthusiastic “yes.” Despite our financial limitations, and the need to close the lounge on a Sunday night for the private party, Capone’s provided the perfect venue for the cast. It is my opinion that even though our forefathers may have paved and polluted the majority of this place, that doesn’t mean we don’t have to be kind and respectful to the few remaining furry and feathered neighbors who share our Island. I’m sure developers and the powers that be would much rather not have to deal with pesky details like the least tern. There seems to be some idea that nature preserves don’t generate income. Maybe there isn’t a big conspiracy, but wildlife creatures can’t speak for themselves. Let this letter speak for them.
