Hali Boot Cuffs by Heather Walton/rav i.d.: heatherbird I made these boot cuffs for my sister Shannon who lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia (hence the name HALI). Being an ocean-side city, the weather tends to be on the cool side, even in Spring and Autumn, so these boot cuffs are wonderful for keeping legs warm even when wearing a skirt or leggings. These cuffs are designed to be worn with the long portion of ribbing inside the boot, but you could reverse them if you wanted more ribbing at the top. These boot cuffs are fashionable, cozy and versatile! Gauge: 26 sts=4” in cable pattern with larger needles *Take time to check gauge to ensure proper fit* Finished Measurements: 11” around; 6” in height Materials: worsted weight wool set of size 7 Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or size needed to obtain gauge set of size 8 Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or size needed to obtain gauge darning needle for sewing in ends Pattern Notes: Cuff is designed to fit with several inches of negative ease.
