Title Interaction of planar shock waves with non uniform flows

Description The thesis analytically investigates the interaction of planar shock waves with weak-amplitude isotropic
nonuniform flows. The modification of the turbulent kinetic energy by the shock passage is obtained with
exact and closed-form formulae in very strong and weak shock limits.
