Gandlake TPS Service - Overview
TPS is the software module of Gandlake’s TransAct service that resides within the Customer’s network. TPS may be configured to
access external web services to complete the processing of a transaction. TPS will take the form data output files from Gandlake’s Forms Management Services and processes them for delivery to the Customer’s back office systems. Configuration of TPS is carried
out as part of the On-Boarding of the software module.
TPS has delivery management queues to ensure that transactions are delivered to their destination. If a back office system is not
available, TPS will hold the transaction in a queue and re-try the delivery.
TPS typically sits within the Customer’s inner firewall or can have a relay in the DMZ. The data from forms completed on the Cloud
service are automatically transferred to TPS, when the citizen submits the form for processing. The data from the form is converted
into the appropriate output file types (XML and / or PDF). TPS can be configured to deliver these output files to differing Customer
systems for further processing. For example, PDF files could be delivered for processing by the Customer’s corporate workflow, CRM
and DMS systems, and XML files could be delivered to the appropriate APIs for processing in the Customer’s back office systems.
Configuration of TPS is carried out as part of the On-Boarding of the software module.
PDF and XML delivery configuration are tailored to the requirements of the Customer as part of the On-Boarding process.
Our standard XML output may be modified to be acceptable to an API for data input to a back office system. That modification is also
carried out as part on the On-Boarding process.

The licencing of Gandlake’s TPS described above.
On-Boarding
As On-Boarding requirements differ from Customer to Customer On-Boarding Services are provided via a separate G-Cloud Service.
Off-Boarding
Off-Boarding requirements also differ from Customer to Customer and so Off-Boarding is provided as a separate G-Cloud Service.
Service Dependencies and Constraints
The Customer must provide either a PC or a server for the implementation of TPS. A PC must run any 32 bit version of Microsoft Vista
or Microsoft Windows 7 and have a minimum of 4Gb RAM, a 2.0Ghz Processor and a minimum of 40Gb HD space (5Gb program
files and 35Gb storage) onto which the Software shall be loaded. A Server must run a 32 bit version of Microsoft Windows Server
2003 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with a minimum of 4Gb RAM, a 2.0Ghz Processor and a minimum of 40Gb HD space (5Gb
program files and 35Gb storage) onto which the Software shall be loaded.
Training
No training on the operation of TPS is required.
Local Authority Responsibilities
The Local Authority is responsible for the provision of the TPS server.
Service Pricing
No charges are made for the licenced use of the TPS.
Service Performance Recompense Model
Our terms and conditions provide a vehicle for the Customer to obtain compensation in the appropriate circumstances.
