Terms and Conditions for #BestFans Competition. 1. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18+. Employees of Silverstone Circuits Limited and the BRDC and their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter. 2. No purchase necessary. Entry to the competition is free. 3. Only one entry per person per week. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. All entries must be original photographs taken by the entrant. Photographs from professional accredited F1 photographers will not be accepted. 4. Entrants must have internet access and a Twitter, Instagram or Google+ account to be eligible for this competition. Entrants must read and accept the website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy to be eligible. 5. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost, damaged or delayed entries whether due to technical or connectivity problems or otherwise. 6. To enter, entrants must upload a picture using the dedicated Silverstone Circuits Ltd Hash Tag #BestFans to be in with a chance of winning. The photo must be submitted on one of the following social networks: Twitter, Instagram or Google+. When entering the competition the user’s account privacy settings must be set to public in order for the entry to be valid. By submitting an entry, the entrant grants permission for the photo to be posted on silverstone.co.uk and any third party websites as determined by the promoter at its sole discretion, e.g. Facebook, Google+, Twitter or Instagram throughout the prize draw period. The winning entry may be posted on silverstone.co.uk 7. Entries deemed to contain inappropriate, offensive or obscene language or behaviour, will be disqualified. 8. Examples of language/images considered to be inappropriate, offensive or obscene, include (but are not limited to): any message/image which contains (a) swearing; (b) comments or actions which appear to be discriminatory of any person, company or group of individuals, for example comments of a racist, sexist or homophobic nature; (c) sexual innuendo, sexual language or sexual acts, actions or gestures; (d) promoting any illegal unlawful activity such as drug use; (e) any message that appears to be an advertisement or solicitation to buy; and (f) any materials (whether written or visual) that directly or indirectly relate to Silverstone Circuits Limited competitor brands or that show any intention of promoting any brand other than Silverstone Circuits Limited. 9. Entrants and their photo submission must comply with the terms and conditions of the social network and by entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these. The promoter reserves the right to report obscene/indecent/offensive entries to the social networks. 10. Entries must be received between 1st June 2014 and 26th June 2015. 11. The Promoter reserves the right to not feature all image entries due to space, time or editorial reasons. 14. A winner or winners will be chosen each Friday in June and will be notified by 4pm. Entries are judged and winners chosen at the end of each week by a panel at Silverstone Circuits Limited. 15. The winners will be notified by a comment left on the winning entry’s photo by Silverstone Circuits Limited Instagram, Twitter or Google+ profile. The winner must email socialmedia@silverstone.co.uk their email address and delivery address to be eligible to receive the prize. 16. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 17. The winner must be prepared to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the promotion. No additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities. No compensation for loss of earnings will be paid by the Promoter for participation in any aspect of this competition. 12. The prize winners will receive any of the following: Pairs of weekend grandstand tickets, upgrades to Driver’s Lounge on Friday only, Paddock Tours, Pit Walk passes, Autograph Session tickets and Madness concert tickets. 13. The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other prize. Travel and accommodation are not included in the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for another of like value in the event that the selected prize is unavailable for any reason whatsoever. 18. If the prize is declined or if the winner forfeits the prize under these terms or conditions, then the judges may at their absolute discretion select an alternative winner based on the criteria described above. 20. All personal details and/or information given in the application either in this form or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entrants if they have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. 21. Neither the Promoter nor agencies involved in this promotion may be liable to the winner, whether arising from tort, including negligence, breach of contract, or otherwise or for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating participation in the competition, or in relation to the prizes to the extent permissible by law. 22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Twitter or Google+. Information is being provided to the promoter and not to Instagram, Twitter or Google+. The information provided will only be used as stated in these terms and conditions. By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to have released Instagram, Twitter or Google+ from any and all liability arising from their participation in the competition or out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the competition. 23. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to add to or waive any of these terms and conditions, or to cancel the competition at any stage, in the event of circumstance arising beyond its reasonable control. 24. By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions. The Promoter shall disqualify any entries that have failed to abide by the terms and conditions and/or are in breach of the terms and conditions. 25. English law applies and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
