Basket Weaving Guild
Do you have a love of weaving and want to share
your knowledge with others? Join the Terra Basket
Weaving Guild. Meetings will take place the first
Thursday of every month from 5:30pm-9:30pm.
The purpose of the group is to promote interest in
the art of basket weaving and share expertise with
our members. Dues are $30 per year and due at
the first meeting you attend. If you would like

Stitch of the Month Classes
Let your creativity loose in these fun classes! The
last Saturday of each month, you will learn a new
stitch for either knitting or crocheting and with
the help of your talented instructor, come up
with a project that will highlight your new stitch.
Depending on the project you choose, expect to
finish your work at home. These classes are open
to all ages (kids welcome!) For a complete

NEW! Fused Glass Plate
Create your own works of art with glass in
this great class! You will be introduced to the
fundamental concepts of creating glass objects
in the kiln and then make an 7” x 7” fused and
slumped plate, choosing from a selection of
different types and colors of glass. Finished work
will be available for pick up 1 to 2 week after
class. No experience with glass is required for
this course, which is recommended for beginners.

Fused Glass Jewelry
Did you miss out on the class in the spring? Now it
your chance to discover the basics of glass fusing
over with Jill Groves. You will learn how to create
beautiful works of wearable art by layering art
glass and fusing the glass in a kiln. Each student
will make 2 from the following choices; pendant,
pin or pair of earrings. The first class is 3 hours
long and begins with an introduction of art glass,
kilns, effects of heat on glass, etc. The second
hour includes instruction on glass cutting and
equipment. The remainder of the class is spent
choosing and layering glass. At the next session,
we will add bails, earring wires, posts or pins to
our finished pieces. No experience with glass is
required for this course, which is recommended
for beginners. Class limit is 8 students. *Cost

student will select a design for their projects,
choose from a variety of class colors & types, cut
their class and assemble their patterns to create 2
beautiful ornaments or hangings. Sample patterns
will be available or you can bring your own.
Patterns should be sized to a min of 1.5” X 2”
or max of 4” x 4”. All equipment and materials
included. Minimum age is 15. Finished work
