The University of Maryland Autism Research Consortium (UMARC) is
partnering with Maryland’s Chapter of the National Student Speech
Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) to celebrate Autism Awareness
Month. We will be showing The Story of Luke. The film is about a young
man with autism who is on a quest for a job and a girlfriend. Following the
film there will be a panel discussion of what happens to adults with autism
and other related topics. The film is not recommended for children, as there
are instances of profanity and mild adult content. Due to location, childcare
will not be provided for this event.
