We are based on the riverbank in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey and have the advantage of operating
from a single location employing just over 100 staff. We rely on the passion of our people to deliver a
proposition that truly puts the customer at the heart of our business.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Project Manager role offers significant interaction with senior
management, departments across the business and external partners. The role will suit candidates
who thrive on building relationships and regard themselves as organised and pragmatic when it comes
to managing projects and relationships.
As the lynch-pin between the business and development teams, your primary purpose is to ensure
that change creates value for our customers, our colleagues and our company. You will also ensure
key change projects are delivered from inception to completion with a pragmatic level of governance
and appropriate control. The scale of the projects will vary, with the largest at the moment costing c.
£1.5m. Equally the nature of the projects will differ, though given IT is at the heart of our business,
most changes will involve technology.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead the project team to ensure there is a common sense of purpose, understanding of the key
outcomes and clarity on how these will be achieved
o Work with senior stakeholders to collect and understand how proposed projects will create
value for the business
o Lead and facilitate the documentation of business requirements
o Develop plans which meet the requirements of the business and ensure that resources are
appropriately planned
o Create project budgets and ensure appropriate control of spend, quality and management
of budgets

Support successful delivery of projects by taking the lead on key projects and overseeing change
activity across the business
o Establish appropriate process and controls over new demand from the business
o Lead the inception and co-ordination of key transformational projects within the business
o Support the business in identifying and solving project issues, initiate corrective actions
and lead post-implementation reviews to feed future project learnings
o Identify, interpret and manage business risks associated with change projects

Support colleagues in the delivery of projects when required
Embed good practice within the business by building appropriate controls and procedures
ensuring that quality is built into everything that we do
o Embed best practice in creation of business cases
o Create and embed appropriate usage of project documentation within the company
o Generate and maintain the project backlog and release plans
o Regularly review output and effectiveness of projects with stakeholders and incorporate
feedback into future change activity
ABOUT YOU:
 Pragmatic Prince 2 practitioner with an ability to adapt different approaches to a range of diverse
change projects
 Demonstrable experience in end-to-end project management, with IT change management critical
 Decision making based on analytical insight and experience and exceptionally organised and detail
orientated
 Proven track record in delivering change in a strongly business focussed project within a fast paced
and dynamic environment
 Capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external parties alike, with
demonstrable influencing skills at all levels and an ability to hold robust conversations with
stakeholders to resolve competing priorities
 Experience of translating high-level business objectives into a clear set of requirements and plans
for senior management and stakeholders alike
 Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting
requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and
initiating corrective actions.

solutions using appropriate methods and technologies with a strong focus on collaboration, quality
and service delivery.
