I Spy July
Each piece in an I Spy Quilt is a different novelty print, and you and your little
friend will have a fun time finding and
identifying each object, animal or bug.
We’ve come up with a plan to help you
get a great start on your collection.
Come to PQW each week in July and
we’ll have a packet of 8 squares for
your collection. By July 31 you’ll have
40 unique squares! And every square is
cut a generous 8” so that you can fussycut and get just the spot you need!
There are many ways to assemble I Spy
Quilts, by using triangles, squares, or
hexagons (or umbrellas? . . ) and we’ll
show you 2 of our favorites on July 1
when your first pack is ready.
Each pack is $6. Reserve yours by calling us at 609-737-4321

New Class! No Guilt Quilt
This is a “No
Guilt Quilt”!!! All
you need to
make the blocks
for this quilt is
one jelly roll and
1 1/2 yards of
background fabric. Very little fabric remains. There is no waste. It is a very
traditional quilt, but the scrappiness
makes it uniquely yours. This quilt is
simple, scrappy and stunning. The piano key border perfectly compliments
the diversity of the fabric in the quilt
blocks. This is an advanced beginner
class. Instructor: Kim N., $54, Monday,

New Class! I Spy A Hexie
Private Class
For times when a regularly scheduled
class just won’t do, we offer private
classes to fill the void. Let’s say that a
class you're interested in requires rotary skills, and you’re still snipping along
with scissors. Well a 1-hour private
class will bring you up to speed. Or say
that you really want to get the hang of
paper-piecing or some other skill. Or
maybe our classes just don’t fit in your
schedule. Talk to any one of us and
we’ll find you the right person at the
right time to teach you what you need
to know. $25 per hour per person.
Collectors of I spy
fabrics (you know
who you are) need
a great project to
feature interesting motifs. This
class will teach
how you to fussy
cut your focus
fabrics into 4 and
6 inch hexagons
and frame blocks using the hexagon trim
tool. The second session will teach you
how to sew Y seams using this clever
tool. Required: Intermediate skills, pattern, ruler. Instructor: Arlene, $54, Tuesday September 23 and October 21, 6-9
