ADAH & The Pet House Unite!
We are very excited to announce our
2 partnership with The Pet House, Erina Fair
and Westfield Tuggerah. It was clear to us
all we were onto something great, deciding
3 to join forces.
3 The Pet House, like ADAH, loves to support
the rescue and rehoming of animals. The
Pet House are very passionate about pets, especially ones in their care. It
4 is top priority to ensure every animal is healthy, happy and cuddled as
much as possible in their new homes. The Pet House have a very strict
4 process for their animal selections to be only from responsible, registered
breeders. They are also continuously helping to rehome rescued animals,
4 young and old. The Pet House strongly support the ban of puppy farming
and do everything in their power to help eradicate this sad part of the
animal industry.
Feel free to pop into The Pet House to say hello to the staff, they are
always happy to help with any of your animal needs.
If you have any questions, feel free to call us on 4365 1086.

“Lucky I have Insurance!”
Eva and the Bee.
Eva is a 5 month old Chinese
Crested Dog owned by our Practice
Manager, Emma. Eva loves to play
and explore in the garden on sunny
days, like most puppies. One
Saturday she decided to befriend a
bee in the garden and sadly this
bee wasn't so happy about the
playtime arrangement. This
unfortunate choice of friend landed Eva with a bee sting to her muzzle,
resulting in a very swollen and uncomfortable face.
As soon as the incident had occurred Emma brought her straight in to
see Dr Ros for treatment. Within 24 hours Eva was back to her normal,
happy self and so far, has steered clear of making any new flying
friends.
Bees and insect stings can cause severe, even life threatening reactions
to our pets. Rapid swelling, depending on the area, can lead to
constricted airways or if near the eye, even cause blinding. Your pet can
also have an anaphylactic reaction and must be seen by a vet ASAP to
prevent suffocation.
If you are ever worried that your pet may have been stung by an insect,
has an unusual swelling or is not themselves, please bring your pet to
see Dr Ros ASAP.
Eva has pet insurance and her treatment was covered. Even the staff at
ADAH have pet insurance as you never know what could happen to your
pet.
If you are interested in more information about Pet Insurance please
contact your financial advisor or ADAH on 4365 1086 for further help.
