Check out samples in the shop that illustrate what types of things we do, as well as the shop's Facebook site for pictures of our projects. In our first year, we have done a fabric challenge, a block exchange, and demos are a regular part of the evening. See our shop calendar for the exact dates we meet, as the date sometimes is changed to avoid conflicts during the holidays! We share ideas for new & old scrap quilting projects, using & demonstrating the newest gadgets, notions, patterns and scrap quilt book releases. Heather’s Taco Pie Bake Ingredients: 1 Pkg Crescent Rolls 1 ½ Hamburger Meat (I mix ½ ground turkey with ½ ground hamburger meat) 1 Pkg Taco Seasoning 16 oz Sour Cream (Fat Free) ½ Bag Doritoes (I use some Cool Ranch and some Regular) Shredded Mozarella Cheese (Small Bag) Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Small Bag) Directions: Spread Crescent Rolls into bottom of 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 10 minutes until light brown and let cool. Brown hamburger and follow directions on Taco Seasoning Pkg. I usually make two of these at one time so I actually make 3 pounds of meat and then split it in half. After crust is cooled, layer on crust: Crushed Chips, cheese, Taco Meat (It’s ok if it is a little juicy),Sour Cream (use rubber scraper and smooth it over meat), more cheese, and crushed chips Bake 25 to 30 Minutes, add Cheese to top and just melt for 5 more minutes. Cut and Serve Optional – Add Salsa into layers or serve it with meat. HINT: If you are serving more than 3 to 4 people, make two pans if you want leftovers to warm up the next day!
