The ceremony was truly outstanding Berry Way Award – Ella Orme “Always A Delight” Always courteous with excellent manners A wonderful role model Being a caring friend to her peers Being a consistent conscientious worker Lending a helping hand in the classroom Exceptional listener who loves to learn Always a pleasure to teach An asset to our school Principal’s Report Lest We Forget. Berry Public School greatly values our relationship and collaboration with our community, including the Berry RSL Sub Branch, and we marked the Centenary of the landing at Gallipoli in true Berry style last week. with many RSL members reflecting that it was the very best school service they had ever attended. Our students and staff were fortunate to receive a personal memento of the Centenary in the form of a specially crafted medallion. We wish to thank the Berry RSL for organising the medallions and also for their attendance and contributions which add so much value to our school service. The community ANZAC Day service on Saturday was attended by over 100 of our students who marched in the parade and then performed a beautiful rendition of Lest We Forget, led by Mrs Quinn. Thanks to all of our parents for bringing the students to the parade in uniform, special thanks to Mrs Barrett and Miss Stanger for liaising with the Berry RSL sub branch and organising the events. Berry Public School – Welcome Everyone Our Community: a culture of care, respect and enrichment.
