Bike to Work Challenge guide (8.5" x 11" / 167 KB)

This May, thousands of New York City
businesses will face off in the bike lanes.
The 2015 Bike to Work Challenge is the best way for New Yorkers to participate
in National Bike Month. This free event lets NYC companies vie to be declared
the most bike-friendly employer in the Five Boroughs. Past teams have included
ConEdison, American Express, Etsy, Google New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, and
hundreds more. More than 40% of riders were women and 20% had never bike
commuted to work before. Here’s how it works:
• Sign up: Create or join a team at bikenyc.org/challenge
• Bike: Competition starts May 1 and continues through May 22
• Have fun: Find T.A. at Bike Commuter Stations along NYC bike routes - May 13 and 20
• Win! The winners are awarded at the Bike Home from Work Party, an under-the-stars blowout in the shadow of the Pearl Street Arch in Dumbo, Brooklyn, May 29
