About Young Bombay Forum (YBF) YBF a youth wing of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry was born on the 172nd Foundation Day of the Chamber in the year 2007. The YBF is the Chamber’s response to the emergence of young leaders in the spheres of business, entertainment and politics. The YBF is working towards VISION of nurturing young leaders in India to become globally competitive and contribute towards nation – building and the MISSION of creating a forum of choice for them to achieve professional excellence and act as change agents for inclusive and sustainable development. Shadow the Leader Program |1 Shadow the Leader Program YBF is organizing the “Shadow the Leader Program”, an innovative and unique program for promising entrepreneurs, professionals and management students. The Program is providing them an opportunity to follow a business leader for day/hours and to understand what it takes to succeed in the leader's field of achievement. The Program is purely a philanthropic and learning program and all the net proceeds after all defray expenses will be used for the benefits of the underprivileged children. The Leader will be a guide for one day to the promising entrepreneurs, professionals and management students for business and augment art of giving This unique Program will be through an online bidding process for a minimum bid amount of Rs. 10,000. The Program serves the dual purpose of mobilizing funds for charity, and also providing promising entrepreneurs, professionals and management students with once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in Corporate India Objectives To provide the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to youngsters to experience the daily activities of renowned Leader/ CEO. To promote quality of education for underprivileged children through NGOs. Terms and Conditions 1. All Participants are requested to read the description of the leader and all other terms and conditions details on the bid platform and Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry website (http://www.bombaychamber.com) before bidding for a particular leader. 2. The Program is purely a philanthropic and learning program and all the proceeds will be used for the benefit of the education of underprivileged children. 3. The details of the proceeds to our various NGO partners after all defray expenses will be informed to all winning bidders through an email All Participants need to post their real name and profile. All Bidders will be screened and verified by BCCI 4. Each participant can bid for only three CEOs at most & person can shadow only one leader in the Program 5. The Program format is that the top bidder wins and eventually gets to shadow their leader. Exceptions to this format have been mentioned in the leader profiles. It is expected that all bidders are aware of this. 6. The bid amount will be payable only to the NGO nominated by the Bombay Chamber of Commerce. Shadow the Leader Program |2 7. The winner will have to make the payment on completion of the bid process within 48 hours from the announcement of results through an email. 8. The winner will have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before shadowing the leader, if required by the leader. 9. The winner will not be allowed into board meetings or meetings where confidential information is being shared, unless agreed upon by the leader. 10. The winner will have to make himself / herself available for the shadowing on a day convenient to the leader. 11. The winner will not publish any opinion / video / tweet about the leader, organization or the event. 12. The winner will not be allowed to photograph / film any part of the shadowing without the permission of the leader/ organization. 13. Photographs with the leader will be permitted subject to acceptance from the leader. 14. Organizers are not responsible for any delays or any other issues that may arise for reasons beyond control. 15. The shadow will be at the convenience of the leader and organizers will try to complete the same by July 31, 2015. 16. Winner will need to make necessary travel and stay arrangements for all purposes in connection with this event. 17. Winner will not approach the leader for any personal requests or favors. 18. The chance of shadowing the leader of the winning bidder is not transferable. 19. The winning bid is binding. The highest bidder, cannot back out of the event and will have to pay the bid amount and shadow the leader. 20. In case of any discrepancy regarding any matter in connection to this event, the decision of Bombay Chamber of Commerce will be considered as final. 21. If the participant wins a bid but is unable to attend shadowing session, the participant will not be refunded any amount 22.
