Your application is not complete without this certificate. You will not be allowed to set up if this is not received by BSF. _ You must have copies of the above certificate available during the event. _ You must keep the area around your position free of litter & you must clean the area around your position at festival closing. _ You must properly dispose of grease during the Festival in the appointed grease disposal unit. _ You must ensure that the paved area around your position is grease free. _ You must only operate during Festival hours, this will be strictly monitored. _ You may SET UP and BREAK DOWN only at your designated time. _ You may sell ONLY the items accepted by the Food Vendor Committee, who will notify you of your accepted menu. _ You must accept the location assigned to you by the committee. _ You must cooperate with all matters related to the electrical and plumbing connections of your unit. _ You may not use any public address system or musical amplifiers. _ You must provide a working fire extinguisher in your unit. _ You must pay all fees when applying. _ The Boston Seafood Festival Committee reserves the right to close any vendor who does not comply with all Festival rules to the satisfaction of the Boston Seafood Festival Committee. _ Vendors shall conduct business only within the confines of their space. _ All applicable electrical, fire and health department regulations and all city, county, state and federal laws must be complied with. _ A menu of all items for sale along with prices must be visible to the public. INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT (VENDOR – LEGAL NAME OF BUSINESS ENTITY), its officers, directors, agents, successors, assigns, servants, volunteers, or employees (hereinafter “Vendor”), through the signing of this document, agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the Boston Fisheries Foundation (hereinafter “BFF”), its officers, directors, successors, assigns, agents, volunteers, and employees from all claims, suits and actions, including attorney’s fees and all costs of litigation and judgment of every name and description brought against the BFF as a result of loss, damage or injury to person or property by reason of any act taken directly or indirectly, by default or by omission, in connection with which permission is given to participate in the Boston Seafood Festival. Vendor and BFF hereby irrevocably agree that, in the event of any claim, suit, action, or dispute arising hereunder, the forum of Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and the jurisdiction and laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, shall apply. Vendors in violation will be expelled from the festival without refund. Your booth space will not be reserved until the enclosed application, full payment and list of items to be sold are received and approved by the BSF Vendor Committee. 1. DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS JULY 1, 2015. 2. Only products with prior approval will be allowed for sale at the festival. Any changes or additions MUST be approved in advance by the committee. No exceptions allowed. Items for sale by arts & crafts vendors shall be handmade. No buy/resale. No exceptions. 3. We will email you notification of acceptance or denial. Acceptance is not implied upon application being received. 4. Welcome packets containing gate passes and parking instructions will be given upon check-in by the food committee. 5. Set up will be on SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM 6. Unless the booth space is rented, the fee is non-refundable. If booth is rented, there will be a $250 administration fee and the rest is to be refunded. Fee must be paid by JULY 1, 2015. Any refunds will be refunded no earlier than three weeks after the date of the event. 7. The Boston Seafood Festival Vendor Committee reserves the right to: review and compare items sold with items listed on this application, remove for sale any items not approved in advance or found to be re-sale items. Vendors not complying with this rule will be subject to removal from the Festival without refund of their fees. 8. Absolutely NO projectiles, silly string, poop bombs, fireworks/firecrackers or rubber band operated toys shall be sold by any vendor. 9. No vendor may break down before 6:00 PM on SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 2015. Equipment deposits will not be returned if you break down early. 10. NO PETS except for service animals. 11. The BFF reserves the right to deny applications at our sole and exclusive discretion.
