Blessed Sacrament School MAY NEWSLETTER Principal’s Message Blessed Sacrament School What a fantastic April we just finished at Blessed Sacrament School. First, congratulations to the Sr. High girls handball team for winning the Provincial Tier 2 Championships hosted by BSS. This is the third year in a row that they have claimed this title. We are so proud of the girls, their coaches and manager – it takes a huge commitment to compete and win at this level. The boys had some very close games and just missed making the playoff round – wait until next year. I would also like to thank all of the parents, staff, students and community members who volunteered and helped to make hosting the 16 team Provincial Handball championships such a success. Fantastic job! Thank you to all of the businesses that offered support as well as CFB/ ASU for the use of their gymnasium for the event. We had overwhelming compliments from so many athletes, coaches and fans that travelled to Wainwright. I hope you had a chance to see the play, Alice in Wonderland (and back again). The cast, including 25 BSS students, and crew did a great job – what a display of talent. The many hours of rehearsal resulted in another successful production. Thank you to all.
