MANAGERS’ MINUTE…
With Mike Kenneally & Paul Butto
Welcome to Summer 2015 at BTSC!
Are you ready for some sun and fun?! We had to
suffer through another frigid and snowy winter, and now
we have started to do our spring cleaning. We hope that the
weather cooperates, as we need to clean and prep the pool
for a fresh coat of paint. The clay for the tennis courts has
been delivered, so we can also start working in that area.
We are also excited that Jacci Weaver will teach Water
Aerobics every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Cocca's Pizza will return for another delicious
season in the Snack Shack! We will continue our Pepsi vs.
Coke beverage machines, and look forward to the many
awesome events on the social calendar! These events were
very successful last year, and the members who attended
really enjoyed themselves. We are looking forward to more
fun again this season.
In addition to repainting the pool, we will be
working on a change to the sand volleyball area. We would
appreciate a better effort from all members with regard to
trash being picked up around the grounds and Snack Shack
areas. Garbage cans are well placed, and an improved effort
to get trash and recyclables to their designated area will
help to keep BTSC looking good!
We are really fortunate to have our front desk staff
returning. They do a great job of maintaining what the
Board and Managers have asked them to do. As in past
years, the front desk staff has been asked to refer your
We can’t wait for the 2015
season to begin! BTSC will open on
Saturday, May 23, which is Memorial
Day weekend. Our hours of operation
will be 12-8 p.m. on school nights,
and 12-9 p.m. once school is out for
the year.
BTSC will host many exciting
social activities again this season! We
will begin with the Splash Into
Summer Kick-Off Party on Saturday,
June 6 from 6 - 10 p.m.

questions and concerns to the Managers or the Board;
they are only following orders that have been passed
down to them. Also, most of our high school guards
will be returning; however, we are sorry to say that our
college guards have moved on to internships and jobs
in the real world. They will be greatly missed. We are
currently waiting to hear back from prospective college
guards to fill these vacancies. Please take some time to
review the rules of the Club to assure that you, your
children, and your guests are aware of the expectations
for the pool, courts, and grounds while enjoying your
time at BTSC.
We would like to remind parents that are
interested in having their kids participate on the swim
and tennis teams that all paper work and fees MUST be
taken care of before a child will be allowed to practice
or compete. We encourage you to check the white
board as you enter the office, as well as the tennis and
swim boards, for important information that will keep
you updated. Also, please make sure that your annual
dues is paid and sent to the P.O. Box BEFORE
Opening Day on Saturday, May 23rd, as this will
ensure a smooth start to Summer 2015. Finally,
welcome to all of our NEW members. We look forward
to seeing everyone very soon!
Sincerely,
Mike Kenneally and Paul Butto,
Club Managers
