Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of the equivalent to 120
UCAS tariff points such as a BTEC National Diploma or
Certificate or a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma or a Level
3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Construction or one GCE
A-level with at least 4 GCSE grades at C or above to include
English language and maths or the equivalent at Irish
Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification such as
Level 2 Essential Skills or Key Skills. Mature students may
be accepted on the basis of their general education and
experience. Final selection will be by interview.
Applicants with a National or Extended Diploma in subjects
other than Construction are also eligible to apply.

Progression Routes
Students successfully completing the course will be
suitable for full-time employment and/or progression
to full-time and part-time degree in related disciplines.
In certain circumstances Foundation Degree students
with appropriate grades will be eligible for exemption
from the first year of related degree programmes at the
Ulster University and Universities throughout the UK.
