SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA DEADLINE ELKS STUDENT OF THE MONTH SCHOLARSHIP Each month a $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding senior boy and senior girl who demonstrate exemplary standards. Students should be well-rounded with leadership, citizenship, service, and scholarship qualities. Students will compete against other high school students in Caddo-Bossier area. Edgar Starr Harris, Jr. Scholarship seeks applications from students who aim to pursue a professional career in the United States military. Applications are being accepted for the 2015-16 school year. Preference will be given to students interested in a career with the U.S. Air Force and to dependents of Air Force members currently serving or who have served at Barksdale Air Force Base. Recipients must attend colleges or universities whose scholarship award terms do not conflict with those of The Community Foundation. Lemon Adger Scholarship is being offered to youth in/or aging out of foster care and children who have been adopted-formerly in foster care in the Shreveport Region who wish to further their education beyond high school-including College, University studies, Vocational and Job training and Correspondence courses. LULAC Council will award scholarships to qualified Hispanic students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the US. (GUNAA), Shreveport Alumni Chapter, is pleased to offer scholarships to Caddo Parish high school students interested in attending Grambling State University beginning in the fall semester 2015-2015 year. Payable over a two year period, the scholarships vary in range from up to the coveted Eddie Robinson Scholarship. Applications are available in the Counseling Department. To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, you must submit an application by April 7th and enroll, full-time at Louisiana State University for the Fall 2015 term.
