TANGLED ON TOUR: THUNDER BAY PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR POSITION TITLE: Production Coordinator for Tangled on Tour in Thunder Bay LOCATION: Thunder Bay COMPANY: Tangled Art + Disability (TAD) REPORTS TO: Tangled on Tour Director SALARY GRADE: $20/hr, TOTAL= 6.5 weeks - 15 hrs/week (for 5 weeks), 30 hrs/week (1 week), 3 days full time – (Festival dates June 11-13) EST TOTAL HOURS = 125 TOTAL = $2500.00 The Tangled Art + Disability, Tangled on Tour: Thunder Bay Production Assistant is a part-time contract position. The Production Assistant is responsible for dayto-day coordination of the logistics of the 3-day festival from June 11 - 13. This position will be part-time beginning April 29, 2015 and full time from June 3 – June 10 and then full time during the 3-day festival from June 11-13. Hours will be Monday-Friday from with some evening and weekend hours during Tangled on Tour events. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Production Coordinator for Tangled on Tour in Thunder Bay is responsible for: • Answering and directing telephone calls, responding to and reporting on voicemail and email enquiries, taking messages and presenting information about Tangled in a professional manner; • Main contact with event venues, artists and partners about all details of the Tangled on Tour in Thunder Bay events; • Creating and maintaining an extensive contact list; • Communication with likeminded organizations regarding newsletters and promotion; • Coordination of email invitations, promotion to events; • Managing Facebook event pages, promotion through Twitter; • Distributing and collecting feedback forms from artists and audience members, following events; • Helping with booking accessibility requirements (ASL, captioning etc.) at all the events as well as travel and accommodations for artists and staff (under direction of Tour Director); • Overseeing administration of volunteers, including scheduling and onsite coordination of volunteers at events; • Supporting staff as needed; MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS At least 1 to 2 years administrative experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong writing and communication skills.
