Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we announce our Calling All Angels 10-year Anniversary! Please
join us in celebrating our 10th annual charity fundraising event Friday, November 6th, 2015 at
Pennas in Sterling Heights. Calling All Angels is a 100% volunteer organization with virtually no
overhead or operating costs and is a non-profit charity with 501c3 tax exempt status.
Over the past 10 years, Calling All Angels has helped finance the building and purchase of homes
for families in need. We have raised over a million dollars and helped to support the rescue
of homeless youth. More importantly, we have raised awareness of the devastating reality
of child/youth homelessness and suffering.
This past December just weeks after our annual CAA event, in partnership with the Penna Family,
Calling All Angels hosted the 1st annual “Hope for the Holidays” event at Pennas of Sterling Heights.
There were over 700 special guests in attendance who consisted of impoverished children and
their families. This event made it possible for the families to have a wonderful holiday celebration
which otherwise they would not have had. Each and every guest received a wonderful meal
donated by Pennas. They also received warm clothing, food to take home and gifts.
This year, Calling All Angels is spreading it’s wings and expanding it’s efforts. Due in large
part to our experience at the “Hope for the Holidays” event with Penna's, we are announcing
the "Calling All Angels Michigan Tri-County Outreach Program." We will be hands-on with area
schools as well as local organizations working together to help children and their families in need.
Together, with your support, we can spread hope and love to these children and their families.
Not just families struggling financially, but also children battling serious illness, special needs,
and children who have become the victims of domestic violence. We will do this using monetary
donations, as well as in the near future, we will be gathering non-perishable food, clothing, etc.,
to have on-hand in our newly donated building for desperate situations requiring immediate help.
Your Heart is our Hope. With your financial support, you will make it possible for us to continue
helping these children in need. We may be the only hope they have.
