Member Referral Contest
Who did not know that during September and
October, Fitness Plus was the gym of choice to the
cast and crew of “Gone Girl” while filming in Cape

Below are comments left by Affleck on a comment
card to Fitness Plus:
“Fitness Plus has been incredible for us! From the
staff, so friendly and helpful, to the gym, great
equipment and space, all have been terrific. We
appreciate all the help, big and small, from the great
people of Cape and Fitness Plus.”
Membership Coordinator Cecilia Yelick and member Julie
Woodruff. Julie referred the most members in October.
What an exciting time!
Member Loretta Prater and Membership Coordinator Mike

We have scheduled some video classes, but please
take the opportunity to fit them to your schedule
needs. Our class DVD library currently consists of
Cardio Dance, Hi/Lo Aerobics, Rep Reebok, Pilates
(Beginner), Pilates (Mat Class), Turbo Kick, Walkin‘
to the Beat, Yoga and Zumba. You may also bring in
your own DVD workout. Simply contact Toni Craft
at 573-331-5303 to reserve the studio. If you are at the
gym and the studio is not being used, you may also
ask the Service Desk to set the projection screen up
for you. Keep in mind, there will not be an instructor
present, so it is important to self-monitor. We hope
you take advantage of this addition to group exercise!

This program gives children ages 7 to 12 the chance
to get a jump start on a healthy lifestyle. After
going through a certification with a trainer,
children have the opportunity to complete a
workout when they visit Kids Plus. Supervised
by a Kids Plus attendant, the program provides a
safe atmosphere for children to become familiar
with the fundamentals of weight training. The
Youth Weight Club includes weight divisions
and weight levels, which means more workout
fun for kids who use the equipment. Children
will be able to earn prizes for reaching various
milestones. Certifications are offered Saturday,
noon-1 pm, and every other Wednesday, 6-7 pm.

Virtual Spinning Rides
Zumba®
In our ON THE ROAD series, you’ll “ride” with Coach
Troy Jacobson in different locations as he guides you
through training sessions designed to make you a faster
and stronger rider. In a “virtual reality” format, you’ll
feel as if you’re actually riding on the road on Troy’s
wheel as you see the scenery whisk by. Boredom will
never again be a factor when it comes to indoor bike
training! These videos are available for our members
to use at their convenience. Please reserve Studio 2
through Toni Craft at 573-331-5303 or through the
Service Desk at 573-331-3355.

right to remove children from the pool who have
questionable swimming ability or are not following
the rules.
Please ask an aquatics staff member if you have any
questions concerning this matter. Our intention is to
make the pools safe and enjoyable for all members.
