The PG enrollment stands at more than 35. Research
activities are on data mining, cloud computing and
next generation network. Department is reacting
rapidly to the changing technological landscape by
adapting quickly. The department is also committed to
adapt industry practices.
About the Workshop
Simulation is a process in which an entire system is
made functional in a hypothetical manner by imitating
its working using software. Network simulators are
used to simulate behavior of network. It has been
widely accepted as a proven tool for network
simulation in industry, academics as well as in
research area. It is an object-oriented, discrete event
driven network simulator developed at TETCOS.
NetSim is primarily useful for simulating local and
wide area networks. It can trace simulation results
which resemble those of practical networks. It is very
helpful tools for practical oriented Teaching.
