Network simulators are used to simulate behavior of network. It has been widely accepted as a proven tool for network simulation in industry, academics as well as in research area. It is an object-oriented, discrete event driven network simulator developed at TETCOS. NetSim is primarily useful for simulating local and wide area networks. It can trace simulation results which resemble those of practical networks. It is very helpful tools for practical oriented Teaching. Contents of the Seminar The course content is designed to familiarize with NetSim and have Hands-on session: Introduction and installation of NetSim Basic Structure of NetSim Link setup, management & Evaluation of Parameters Basic topology writing Wireless Setup & Simulation Evaluation parameters of Wired and Wireless Simulation Research Perspective of Simulation & link with current practical environment Resource Persons Pranav Viswanathan, TETCOS Jugal Shah, TETCOS Prof. Ritesh Patel, CSPIT, Changa, Gujarat Prof. Nishidh Chavada, CSPIT, Changa, Gujarat Prof. Ditixa Vyas, CSPIT, Changa, Gujarat Registration Fees / Important Dates Students (M.
