ANTIC FACTORY
Use the technique of insanity to make the
audience sit at the edge of their seat, mouth
agape, in suspense of the next mind-boggling
thing you might do! This workshop is ideal for
performers of all types and varieties looking to
stretch and expand their abilities to captivate
and transfix their audience through being
present, risky, and absolutely out of their
gourd. There will be an emphasis on making
the audience laugh, but this class is not only
for comedians. Actors, improvisers, circus
performers, dancers and construction workers
should also come. This workshop will meet
twice. Participants are required to attend both
meetings. Price is to attend both meetings.
BACHATA WORKSHOP & FIELD TRIP
Learn to move with your partner and master the
steps of Bachata! Learn and practice during the
workshop, then take your skills to a club after
with your fellow workshoppers. You will learn
music recognition and timing, basic steps, and
dance floor manners. No partner needed!
CHINESE POLE BOOTCAMP
WANNA GET EXTREMELY BUFF? Well, pole
up private! This boot camp is comprised of
exercises and conditioning based around the
Chinese Pole apparatus. Core work, active
flexibility, and upper body strength building are
the cornerstones of this workshop. Once you’ve
gone through this training you might as well join
the Circus Marines! Participants are strongly
encouraged to attend both dates, but it is not
absolutely required. Each meeting is $30 ($60
to attend both.)
DANCE FOR CIRCUS PERFORMERS
This workshop will deepen your performance
skills, help you to find more meaningful
transitions between tricks, and work on timing
and musicality in your routines. Participants will
learn how to combine their circus skills with the
athleticism of contemporary dance technique to
discover new and vibrant movement pathways.
This workshop will meet twice and participants
are required to attend both meetings. Price is to
attend both meetings.
DANCE SERPENTINE
Welcome to Dance Serpentine, an ancient art
of belly dance with strong, striking posture and
smooth, graceful stylization. This introductory
level workshop will give you basic techniques
and tricks you can implement easily into any
of your circus performance. This class will
cover basic posture, fluid hip and upper body
movements, and shimmies. Rooted in tribal and
traditional belly dance, this workshop
is open to all.

MINITRAMP
DUO TRAPEZE
This workshop will introduce the basics of duo
trapeze and challenge the more advanced
student with higher-level techniques. Students
will experiment with synchronized movements,
supporting each other’s body weight suspended
in the air, release tricks, and finding new ways of
moving with two people on a trapeze.
GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR INNER CLOWN
Dive into the depths of your inner silliness!
Drawing on clowning, theater, improv, and
movement exercises, we will work intimately to
explore ourselves through the lens of a clown.
We will bring playfulness and levity to the parts
of ourselves we often hide from the world,
and use vulnerability and laughter as ways to
connect deeply with ourselves and others.
HANNA SOMATICS FOR ATHLETES
Hanna Somatic Education is the use of sensorymotor learning to reawaken the mind’s control of
the neuromuscular system. Somatic exercises
enhance both strength and flexibility, decrease
pain, and speed recovery time. Learn tools to
release contracted muscles, improve body
awareness, and enhance movement quality.
HOW TO FIND WORK
IN THE PROFESSIONAL CIRCUS WORLD
In this workshop, renowned Circus Historian
Dominique Jando will introduce you to the
tools you need to pursue a profession in the
Circus world. You will learn to work with agents,
producers and casting directors; how to use
social media to secure work; the best ways to
sell yourself; and how to negotiate contracts.
INTRODUCTION TO ROUÉ CYR
This workshop will cover the fundamentals to
mastering this exciting and unique apparatus.
Training will encompass manipulating the
wheel, basic tricks and awareness, and steps to
continue the pursuit of Roué Cyr.
INTRODUCTION TO SWINGING TRAPEZE
Participants will have the chance to try swinging
trapeze, a heavy trapeze that is in constant
swinging motion. Students will learn to push
the swing and how to use it for basic moves.
Rare opportunity for beginners to give this more
advanced apparatus a try!
This workshop teaches beginning to advanced
mini-trampoline skills with an emphasis
on safety, body awareness in space, and
conditioning.
PERFORMANCE NUTRITION
Each participant will begin with the Inbody body
composition analysis scan to learn information
about their own body fat percentage, lean body
mass, water weight, and basal metabolic rate.
The scan will be followed by an introduction to
the basics of macronutrients (proteins, carbs
and fats) and nutrient timing to maximize our
performance goals. The capacity for our bodies
to change, adapt, and recover is directly related
to the fuel we supply it! Meets Mon, Wed & Fri.
Price is to attend one date of the workshop: all
dates will cover the same material.
PILATES FOR AERIALISTS
When applied to aerial training, the
fundamentals of Pilates can help aerialists
prevent injury while retaining the strength and
mobility required for their art. Participants can
expect to learn a variety of movement patterns
and exercises they can put into practice
immediately in order to avoid injury, increase
strength, and improve stamina on aerial
apparatus.
PROGRESSIONS TOWARD EXCELLENCE PART 2:
WALKOVERS & LIMBERS:
MOVING THROUGH INVERSION
From standing to backbends and back again,
this workshop guides you to being skillful
in fundamental acrobatic moves. Refine
backbends and access upper body mobility
while inverted. Learn to orient yourself while
moving backwards and upside down.
TEETERBOARD
This seesaw-like apparatus will let you take
your acrobatic tricks to new heights! Work on
the back tuck, the straight jump crossboard, the
back layout, the double back layout and more.
No acro partner necessary.
SALSA WORKSHOP & FIELD TRIP

steps of Salsa! Learn and practice during the
workshop, then take your skills to a club after

SLACKLINE
All levels workshop will introduce beginners
to materials, rigging, and falling techniques.
Experienced students will learn more
challenging balance techniques, highline
rigging, and safety techniques.

This workshop will guide you in discovering and
training aspects of your most critical region.
Refine your awareness of alignment and be
challenged with strength and stability from the
inside out and back again.
PROGRESSIONS TOWARD EXCELLENCE PART 1:
HEADSTANDS & HANDSTANDS:
MAINTAINING INVERSION
Forget that teeny tool that can only put one
crystal on at a time! Learn the basics of different
kinds of crystals - brands, sizes, shapes,
sources, colors, etc. We will quickly move into
the hands-on portion, and learn how to affix
stones to costumes and accessories. All tools
and materials, including finest-quality Swarovski
crystals, will be included in the registration fee.
Hands-on workshop in which participants will
learn each step of applying makeup for the
stage. From an even base to detailed eyes,
students will cover blending, highlights, sparkle
and more. Includes Ben Nye makeup kit!
From supporting weight on your arms to kicking
up to pressing, this workshop guides your
development in one of the most fundamental
acrobatic skills. Find stability and proper
alignment in all orientations, and learn to isolate
movement at the hips and shoulders while
stabilizing your core.

SWAROVSKI SPARKLE - HOT FIX STONE
SYNCHRO-TRAMP
Synchro-tramp is the art of mirroring a partner
who is jumping the equivalent routine on a
second trampoline at the same time. This
2-trampoline workshop teaches beginning
synchronized trampoline skills with an emphasis
on safety, playfulness, and learning to match
form and timing.
