Google’s E-City award for excellence in deployment of technology
• Re-established the Commercial Revitalization and Streetscape Improvements programs to attract
shoppers and businesses
• Worked cooperatively with the Chamber of Commerce to fill office vacancies, retain tenants, and attract
corporate headquarters like the HUB Group and Duchossois Group
• Outsourced the 911 Emergency Dispatch System to the county-wide DuComm system, improving service and reducing costs
• Initiated the Electrical Aggregation Project, reducing residents’ electric bills by several million dollars

• Cooperate with community leaders to apply more pressure on the General Assembly in Springfield for
pension reform
• Continue pursuing options to reduce the Village’s ballooning pension liability to employees
• Continue to represent Oak Brook at all times with honor and dignity
• Keep the Board focused on the real business of Oak Brook
• Maintain financial stability
• Continue the replacement of aging water mains and infrastructure to ensure reliable service into the future
• Continue to support Commercial Revitalization and Streetscape Improvement projects to improve
access, safety and opportunities for our visitors, residents and businesses
• Pursue Federal funding for York and Harger intersection improvements
• Hold ComEd accountable for providing high quality service and improving customer satisfaction
