The Role
As a "Property Assessor (Desktop)" you will use your building (and insurance) knowledge to
prepare and submit professional assessment reports to our clients. You will use your excellent
customer service skills to respond to customer queries and explain the insurance process to the
customer and put them at ease. You will use your energy, enthusiasm and verve to submit your
reports in a timely manner and maintain communication with all relevant parties.

environment.
Your Objectives
Prepare a professional assessment report delivering on your KPIs of Quality , Lifecycle
and Cost.
Coordinate and communicate with peers and external suppliers to collect all required
supporting documents and information
Prepare and submit assessment reports within set time frames.
Support and respond to client and customer inquiries.
About You
You will have at least 5 years building industry experience, preferably as a licensed trade and/or
you may currently be an assessor within the insurance industry either with an insurer or another
supplier and/or you may work within the insurance industry in various roles.
Experience in using a building repair costing platform would be advantageous.
Additionally we would expect you to have:

Proficient computer skills (e.g.: word, excel, outlook)
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
An ability to work autonomously
Flexibility with working hours (as surge requires)
Flexibility to travel interstate
