Its vision is that all family caregivers will have knowledge of and access to resources that support them and those in their care. • More than 65 million people, 29 percent of the U.S. population, provide care for a chronically ill, disabled or aged family member or friend during any given year and spend an average of 20 hours per week providing care for their loved one. Coalition partner organizations combine their resources to education and support for the more than 100,000 estimated caregivers in our community. Caregivers will leave feeling recharged and informed of ways they can focus on their own self-care.
