nation’s second largest dollar store. It operates more than 8,100 stores in
46 states and the District of Columbia. Family Dollar also operates nine
distribution centers that are each over 900,000 SF.
Family Dollar targets women shopping for a family earning less than
$40,000 a year. Consumables (food, health and beauty aids, and household
items) account for about two-thirds of sales; the stores also sell apparel,
shoes, and linens.

Dollar Tree Inc. The new merger plans to keep both brands and operate
