Warm Hearts ~ Warm Babies Volume 14, Issue 3 March 2013 News Rocky Mountain Quilting Expo Feb.7th, 8th, and 9th Photos of donated items that were on display at our booth for the Rocky Mountain Quilting Expo The weather was nice this year for the Rocky Mountain Quilting Expo, many happy and excited people were there. Warm Hearts was given a complimentary booth at which we displayed the things we donate and shared our mission of serving needy and premature infants in Colorado. People were very touched and thankful for an organization like ours. We received over $100.00 in our donation bottle, and we sold several of our cookbooks. The money was great, but more important were the number of ladies that showed interest in volunteering. I am glad to announce that we have at least six new members join because of talking to us at the Expo. Special thanks go to Laurie Balzer, Jean Jones, Fran Hindman, Nancy Cochran, Lauren Schlicht, Donna Lantgen and Polly Wolf for volunteering. 1 DONORS Memorial Donation Robert &Connie Amick in memory of Walter Amick Individuals Harold and Claudia Bushman – monetary No Name (Albuquerque, NM) – yarn Iles Family – hats Daniella Martin – diapers Joyce Ray – yarn Wanda Thomson – yarn Sherry Kelly (Wyoming) – afghans and hats Deb Nelson – afghans from mom Rita Patton – booties, pacifiers Tester (Hawaii) –assorted baby clothing Lynette Yokoyama – afghans Carol Harper – hats Erin Murray (Texas) – hats, booties, blankets Myriam Samson-Mysch – hats and booties Marcia Grothe (California) afghans and hats THINKING OF YOU Colorado Springs “Special well wishes for the many, many Southern Colorado Volunteers that have had illnesses, surgeries, procedures, etc. over the past few months.
