The situation of
ePublishing as we see it,
and what we do about it.
1 complexity
2 lack of
original ideas
Problem
Problem
Potentially high coding
costs prevent from
developing challenging
implementations.
Sometimes the
unsuspectingness of
technical and creative
possibilities are paired
with the premonition
of required time for
realisation. That leads to
a cautious attitude while
designing wich often
produces unsurprising
results.
Solution
Leveraging the
power of cross
plattform frameworks
and programming
technologies, it is often
not necessary to start
the development at
zero, making it easier
to accurately estimate
development costs and
calculate risks.

Solution
Generating interesting
ideas has a high priority in
our concept phase:
creative techniques operated by our multidisciplinary
team help to find solutions
that impress.
3 many target
devices
4 hard to
understand
Problem
Problem
The great number of
possible devices for
a sufficient spread of
the publication blows
production costs and
sometimes leads to
unforeseen results.
Many people enjoy
browsing through digital
magazines and like
the possibilies given.
Nevertheless studies
show, that many more or
less tricky features are
barely used by most of
the readers.
Solution
Adaptive layouts are
flexible. We support
you to pick the optimal
production framework to
provide an optimal user
experience on a wide
range of devices.
Solution
We provide in depth
analysis of customer
needs and behavoir.
Therefore we are able
to develop a product
based on the needs,
experiences and abilities
of the target audience.

HTML5
The responsive Website for the art gallery
»Phillip Pflug Contemporary« mirrors the
simplicity in design the Office BLILA has
given their graphical appearance. It comes in
three viewing sizes with different amount of
information. Swiping up and down changes
the colorset for every exhibition.

easy to swipe from slide to slide and open
up additional information by tapping the red

Examples
iOS Native
»You name it« in an app in development,
that helps creatives to find names for
products, service or companies.
You enter a term and it combines querys to
different search engines.
You get back a list of translations, rhymes,
synonyms and also proposals for word
combinations.
You can save and combine the results,
you can split the syllables.
You can use them for new querys.
You just need your thumb to get inspired.
»Forum MLP« is a quaterly magazine that
now only is published digitally. The production
being made at the interactive Studio SensoryMinds we participated in idea-finding and
conception of an issue.

HPUB
We tried the promising format HPUB to
deliver fixed layout multimedia enriched
publications. With the Baker Framework we
were able to build an indiviudal bookshelf
inside of iOS Newsstand. All the files are
hosted on an own server.
There are few steps to go from Indesign
to HTML files that contain the Layouts wich
makes the production process easy and lean.
Just like ePub all the assets are being zipped
to a single package.
