OceanTools Drilling Technologies Technologies OceanSENSE VMS-2/VMS-5 Wepco Anchors OceanSENSE Cement Dye Detection & Leak Detection The OceanTools OceanSENSE Dye Detection System is field proven on hundreds of offshore jobs with a very impressive near 100% detection rate. A single unit can be used to detect leaks from subsea infrastructure AND detect cement dye during cementing operations. OceanSIP Exists in ROV portable and diver held form. OceanSENSE has a leak detection range of up to 7meters and is operated with ROV/diver lights on, allowing for a much smoother, safer and faster operation. OceanSENSE is exceptionally sensitive - 50x more sensitive than the human eye and conventional blacklight systems - detecting tracer dyes down to 6 parts per billion with software that guides the operator to the source of the leak. OceanSENSE-RM When deployed during well cementing jobs dye may be added to either the packer or to the actual cement. As it flows out of the casing the OceanSENSE unit immediately detects it and announces the presence both visually and audibly. Works with a wide range of dyes but best results obtained with the use of OceanDYE. VMS-2 Verticality Measurement Systems VMS-2 & VMS-5 The OceanTools Verticality Measurement Systems - the VMS-2 and VMS-5 - are integrated solutions consisting of market leading equipment innovatively packaged to make them as low a profile as possible and ideal for passing through the Texas Deck. Two models depending on customer’s requirements: The VMS-2 provides pitch and roll information via an OceanDISTIL inclinometer with integral subsea display. The VMS-5 provides survey grade heading, pitch, roll, azimuth and angle information via an OceanFOG North Seeking Gyro outputting to an OceanDISP subsea display. With vertical scrolling subsea displays, integral subsea battery packs and easy deploy / easy recover ‘delta’ mounting brackets, both VMS systems are ROV recoverable and portable, extremely robust. The ROV-operated Guide Wire Anchors are easily installed to & recovered from any standard API 3” guide post using the ROV’s manipulator. Safety features include a shear-pin to allow recovery in an emergency situation. The ROV-operated Lifting Anchor is specially designed for the lifting of guide-posts. The Lifting Anchor is certified for 4 tonnes and will fit any standard API 3” guide post. Safety features include a shear-pin to allow recovery in an emergency situation. Both the Guide Wire Anchors and the Lifting Anchors are constructed from stainless steel and are CE certified. Lifting Anchor OceanSIP Digital Bullseyes OceanSIP & MiniSIP The OceanTools OceanSIP and MiniSIP are precision engineered self-contained subsea inclinometer packages combining several OceanTools products into one robust frame to offer an integrated subsea inclination measurement system. At the heart of the SIP is a very precise dual axis inclinometer housed in the same underwater housing as the display. The SIP contains an integral battery pack which obviates the need for an umbilical to the surface. The SIP remains in a low power consumption quiescent state until an ROV or diver shines a light on the display which then wakes up & activates the system before it returns to sleep after a programmable delay. Applications for the OceanSIP and MiniSIP include the installation of subsea manifolds, templates and other subsea structures. OceanTools Ltd, OceanTools House, Claymore Drive, Aberdeen AB23 8GD. UK.
