Held in conjunction with: 2015 The 10th International Oil and Gas Exploration, Production and Refining Exhibition Oil and Gas Production using Subsea and Deep water Systems Conference : 4 - 5 November 2015 Exhibition : 4 - 7 November 2015 Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta - Indonesia Conference Organiser: Exhibition Organiser: EVENT Indonesia Pushes for Deep Water Exploration The Indonesian government is encouraging oil and gas production companies to increase exploration activity in deep-water blocks. With independent authorities estimating that approximately 60% of Indonesia’s potential 106.2 billion-barrel reserves are located in known offshore basins, the potential to significantly increase production is apparent. Challenging underwater environments call for specialised technology and in recent years the upstream petroleum industry has seen a large increase in the development of tools, equipment and services required for Subsea operations. This is particularly welcome in Indonesia, where recent discoveries of hydrocarbons in Muara Bakau Block and the Kutai basin suggest that opportunities for companies active in the region’s Subsea sector are now plentiful. A vast nation, comprising of more than 17,500 islands, Indonesia is abundant in natural resources. It has a long history of both onshore and shallow water exploration activity, but deep water is where the future of Indonesia’s oil production lies. As a result, the country provides an excellent opportunity for companies looking to supply Subsea equipment and services to the numerous exploration and production companies active in this region. The Subsea Asia Conference Taking place 4th-6th November, the Subsea Asia conference will be the tenth technical programme run in Asia by the world’s leading Subsea association, Subsea UK. Incorporating an Ice Breaker reception and a series of technical presentations and workshops, the conference will draw Subsea experts to Jakarta from across Indonesia and beyond. The aim will be to discuss the latest developments and challenges related to Asia Pacific Subsea operations. Companies represented at the last conference programme included Technip, FMC, GE Oil & Gas, SMD and Tracerco. The Subsea Asia Exhibition Complementing the Subsea Asia conference will be the Subsea Asia exhibition. This will feature companies that specialise in supplying Subsea related products and services to those operating in the South East Asian region. The exhibition will be open to trade visitors from the 4th – 7th November. Subsea Asia will, for the first time, run alongside the hugely successful Oil and Gas Indonesia Exhibition. This event has been taking place since 1995 and last time attracted 8,815 visitors and 777 exhibiting companies. www.subseaasia.org www.subseaasia.org Subsea Asia 2014 Facts & Figures* Visitor Profile: Exhibition •Subsea Professionals and Managers Space Occupied: Participating Companies: Participating Countries: International Exhibitors: National Exhibitors: As a guide, exhibitors can expect to meet: •Mechanical and Structural Engineers •Chemical and Process Engineers •Electrical Engineers •Project Management Professionals •Flow Assurance Engineers •Controls Engineers •Marine and Installation Engineers •Petroleum Engineers 2,100sqm 123 17 90 33 Attendance Conference Delegates: 122 Exhibition Visitors: 2,478 Exhibitors: 182 Total Attendees: 2,782 *Figures taken from the Malaysian event Exhibitor Profile A diverse collection of Subsea technology, services and equipment will be on display at Subsea Asia 2014 • Acoustic Positioning • Crane Barges/Heavy Lift Vessels • Process Control and Monitoring Equipment • Diving Services • Risk Analysis Consultancy • Engineering Design • ROVs • Subsea Processing/Pumping Suppliers • Sonar • Flowlines, Flexibles and Pipelines • Subsea Construction • Health,Safety and Environment Consultancy • Subsea Control Systems • Inspection, Repair and Maintenance • Survey Services • Marine Consultancy • Trenching and Evacuation Services • Metering Equipment and Systems • Valve Manufacturers • Personnel/Training Systems/Consultancy • Video/Photographic Systems • Pig Launchers/Traps/Receivers and Accessories • Well Intervention Services • Pipe Laying/Cable Laying Services Equipment • Chemical Suppliers • Subsea Umbilicals/Power Cables • Wellhead and Christmas Trees www.subseaasia.org Targeted Visitor Campaign Subsea Asia 2015 will be promoted throughout the ASEAN region via extensive targeted visitor promotion campaigns designed to reach the people that count. • Personal visits to all major oil producers and government ministries • Strategic, targeted use of complimentary visitor tickets • Direct mail campaigns to an extensively researched customer database • An aggressive press campaign incorporating daily and weekly press advertising and editorial coverage The Venue The Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, is a purpose built exhibition Centre that offers some of the most up-to-date exhibition facilities available in South East Asia, making it Indonesia’s premier exhibition venue.
