Day of Prayer for Vocations : Sunday next the 26th April is Good Shepherd Sunday and World Day of Prayer for
Vocations, a day when all of us are invited to reflect on the meaning of God’s call and to pray for vocations to the
priesthood and religious life. Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He laid down his life for his flock, that is, you and me,
the Church. In a general way he invites everyone in the Church to share in the work of caring for the flock in our
own place and in our own time.

Calling All Past Pupils: As part of the Fundraising
efforts for the New extension it has been decided to
incorporate a “Down Memory Lane Wall” within the
school. All past Pupils will be invited to have their
Name, Townland, Start Year and Finish Year recorded
on the wall. Committee members will be contacting all
past pupils in the coming weeks, with further info.
Donaghmoyne Ladies: Breakfast Morning on Sunday
26th April in Lisdoonan in Aid of U14 Feile team after
10am mass. Please come and support this very worthy
cause, you'll not be disappointed. Thanks to all who
supported our Table Quiz on Friday last, a special word
of thanks to Michael and Mary McGettigan for all their
help on making it a very successful night. Fund Raisers
we hope to have a number of fund raisers during the
year with a Flag Day planned for Saturday 13th June in
Carrickmacross. Mini Fontenoys, thanks to all the lady
players who have volunteered to help at the mini
Fontenoys every Saturday morning, Rota is in place so
please keep an eye out for your week. Games/Training
the playing session is well underway now with games in
almost all grades. This week our U16’s, Seniors A & B
Team were out and also a team entered Clann Eireann
7s Tournament. Registration Fees are now due.

Laragh Heritage : The community of Laragh wish to
sincerely thank all those who supported or contributed in
any way to the Easter 5k Ramble Run & Rubber Duck
Race which took place in Laragh last Sunday. Thankfully
the weather stayed fine despite the forecast and the event
was a fantastic success overall.
Bargain Blitz: take place in St. Mary's recreation room
on Sat 25th April 2015 10am - 4.30pm massive clearance
on clothes, furniture and brick a brac one day only all
must go. All proceeds will go directly towards patient
comfort fund. Anyone wishing to donate clothes or bric a
brac for this sale (good condition) are asked to leave
items at reception of St. Mary's. All greatly appreciated.

The Annual Donaghmoyne Village Festival takes place
on June 7th. It will start at 12 noon and admission is €5
for adults and €3 for children. Lots of fun and
entertainment for all on the day. If you sing or play a
musical instrument, please feel free to take it along on the
day and take part in the entertainment. There'll be a wellie
throwing competition for U12, U16 and adults and soap
box racing as well as tug-o-war. There'll also be a display
of Irish dancing at the village crossroads as well as line
dancing, drama and dance and also free pony and trap
rides and bouncy castle for the children. Refreshments
will be available all day in the community centre.

The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive Service.
Is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local
patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments. We
are looking for volunteers to pick patients up at their
homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them
up when they are finished their treatment and bring them
home again. Volunteer expenses are paid. For more info
