(Electro Bio-Remediation)
Technology for Remediation of
Volatile Organic Compound in Groundwater
In-Situ Bioremediation
• In-situ bioremediation is an adjustable technology, implemented in many environments.
• Common treatment for aerobic remediation of MTBE and Benzene.
• Current application: External gas delivery techniques (AS, SVE).
• Limiting factors: Oxygen levels, nutrients availability, OPR control, site permeability
conditions and oxygen loss to unsaturated zone.

Final Remediation results (µg/L) for each treatment after 14h:
After 14 hours of E.F activation concentration of all chlorinated solvents were
reduced up to 3 magnitude of order.
High efficiency of EBR® Fenton process was also recorded in a site with similar
contaminated compounds.
1. EBR® provides a remediation solution for hydrocarbons in soil and
groundwater.
2. The EBR® system is capable to degrade pollutants values below target
levels in a relatively short time frame.
3. The EBR® solution characterized with an ability to control the reduction
processes and to avoid production of hazardous by-products.
4. The system is easy to install and cost effective.
